{Chapter 1}
Premier Box Seating

The sun rose slowly over the mountain town in the north of Ireland. The residents of number 9 Bridge Avenue, were sound in their beds not ready to face the up coming day. It was the sound of an alarm clock that woke up the eldest daughter of the Ryan household.

Effie Ryan woke up with a groan as she turned to her side to stop the alarm. The sudden silence in the house was eerie as her family were well known as early risers. Slowly she climbed out of bed her toes curling as her feet hit the ground.

She hurried down the stairs rushing to the kitchen to look for something to settle her growling stomach. Man, she couldn't wait for Hogwarts, and with that the start of the year feast. Just thinking about the feast made her mouth water. Only ten more days until she got to return to her home away from home.

"EFFFFFFIIIEEEEEEEEEE," yelled a voice that Effie could only assume was her little sister Katrina, or more commonly called Kat, as she was definitely the loudest person in the house. The sound of small feet running down the stairs only confirmed Effie's original guess.

"Effie, Effie," she shrieked in excitement; her Irish accent blending the words together.

Effie laughed, "Calm down Kat, what is it?"

"Uncle Barry invited us to the World Cup! THE QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP. He said he had extra tickets, PREMIER BOX SEATING. PREMIER. I guess it's because he's on the team, but it's premier none the less. Famous people go into the Premier Box, I mean the minister himself sits there! Wow imagine how many powerful people you could-"

"THE QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP!" Effie shouted after the minute it for the idea to land in her head, "I'll have to owl Alex, Lee, maybe Cedric, they all said they'd be going and maybe we could meet up with them!"

Wow, Effie though with a smile on her face. She had been trying to convince her parents to buy them tickets for the World Cup, since she found out that their uncle was competing, but they had extinguished that idea saying that the cost for the tickets wasn't worth the quality of seat they'd get.

"Did you ask mum and dad yet?" Effie asked her younger sister by a year.

"Asked mum and dad what?" their father asked as he approached the girls.

The sisters looked at each other quickly before Kat gestured for Effie to continue. "Well, Kat just got a letter from Uncle Barry asking us if we wanted his Premier Box tickets to the Quidditch World cup, he said he had-" Effie stopped and looked over to her sister.

"Four"

"-Four of them. That's one for Kat, You, Jake and me. All we need is a tent campsite which costs nothing in comparison to the tickets. I mean if you wanted I'm sure Kat and I could gather up some money, Jake to if he wants to go, which I'm sure he does I mean it is the Quidditch world cup...." Effie looked up and met her fathers eyes begging him to allow the Ryan siblings to go.
