(Alison POV)
*Three years later*
"Happy birthday to you..." I sing as I bring the cake to the table with the candles lit for the twins.
Emily is holding Asher's cake and I'm holding Lily's cake.
"Make a wish." I say as I stand before them.
"Okay!" They say.
Lily closes her eyes and so does Asher.
Lily then clasps her hands together and wishes 'really hard.' And then blows out her candles. Then Asher does a few seconds later.
I already know what Lily wished for. And Asher is wishing against Lily's wish. They fight about this all the time. A baby sister.
"Lily, Asher, how old are you?" Spencer asks from behind me.
"Auntie Spencer, you already know this one you smarty pants!" Asher says.
"No. I don't know this one. I forgot. Can you remind me?" Spencer says with a playful smirk.
"Mommy, you tell them. I've told them too many times." Lily says and walks away rolling her eyes and flipping her hair.
"She's definitely your daughter." Hanna says.
"I'll go after her." I say.
I walk up the stairs and find Lily in her room, playing with a little angel that plays music when you wind it up. I watch her through the crack of the door.
"I miss you, papa Wayne. I know you're my guardian angel. I love you. I miss you. I wish I could talk to you right now. You were the best papa ever." She says and I see a single tear run down her cheek.
Wayne passed away last year from a heart condition. Sadly they couldn't get him a new heart in time. He was Lily's role model, she loved him so much, they were so so close and it made my heart swell seeing the two interact.
When he passed, her, Asher, Emily, and Pam were devastated. I was too, but I had to be strong for them. We're all getting better though.
Her sniffles break me from my thoughts.
I open the door slowly and walk towards her.
"Baby?" I say softly.
She looks up and tries to wipe her tears before I see them.
"Baby, it's gonna be okay." I say softly and rub her back.
She looks up at me with her crystal blue eyes filled with tears and bursts out crying. I put her hair behind her ear and pull her into me. She rests her head in the middle of my chest and snuggles into me.
Once she calms down a little I wipe her tears and she looks down. I put her hair behind her ear and trace her jaw with my finger. I push her chin up with my finger so she can look at me.
"Hey, it's your birthday. It's a happy day. What's wrong?" I ask.
"I miss papa Wayne so much." She says and hugs me. I hug her back.
"Baby I know, but papa Wayne, he would want you to be happy for your birthday. I certainly am." I say.
"I know, mommy." She says.
"Good. Anything else?" I ask her.
"Well...." She says.
"Well what?" I ask and tickle her sides.
She giggles...
"I really want something..." She says.
"And what is that baby?" I ask.
