Derricks POV

I remember that day perfectly.

I just turned 19 and was the new alpha since my father had died.

I thought that she was just a normal brat.

A daughter of a hunter.

But when I picked her up, I could feel her fear, like it was my own.

I didn't know what it meant while she was thrashing in my arms.

I could even feel her pain when we were getting rid of those monsters that she called family.

I felt everything.

I felt her die inside as she saw her family close each of there eyes

And if I were to tell my men to stop,

They would have thought me weak.

That I was just a weak bastard that couldn't even handle a simple job.

I wouldn't have become the most feared and cruel Alpha in the United States that I am today if I hadn't done that.

I have done some things I'm not proud of over the years but that job hurt me the most.

And I never understood why.

Until now.

She was my mate.

I stood up from my office chair I was siting and started to pace.

I would most likely never win her.

But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna try

And if I don't she still as fucken hell gonna be at my side weather she likes it or not.

I love her.

I can admit it, how can I not.

She's so beautiful, so caring, funny, great personality, protective and Mine.

She already has me at her mercy and I've only known her for a few fucken hours!

I would do anything for her

Just to see her smile at me.

Why does life has to be so damn fucked up!!!

I bang my fists on my desk and break it in half.

There goes my second one today.

I sigh and sit back down.

I feel the tears about to fall but I won't let them out.

I'm an alpha

And I will do anything in this world to get my luna to fall In love with me.

I get up and call a few people in my pack.

She is going to fall for me by the end of this damn week.

She has to........
