Caius began to cry, causing the two parents to groan. Jack sat up in their bed, rubbing his eyes. "I'll get him," he grumbled.
Mark mumbled an incoherent response, already falling back asleep. He hugs Jack's pillow close, snoring softly.
Jack couldn't help but smile at his pink-haired lover. He stood up and walked to the nursery, walking up to the crib. Caius didn't stop crying like he usually does when one of them walked in. He sighed, picking the infant up and began to cradle him.
Caius soon stopped screaming but tears still ran down his face. He whines, hitting at Jack's chest. He gurgled some stuff in his baby language, which Jack could only guess was baby curse words.
Jack changed his diaper, but that didn't make him stop crying. He made his way to the kitchen and made him a bottle, feeding it to Caius.
Caius began to relax as he ate, being carried to his parent's room.
Jack sat in bed, setting Caius between Mark and him. He took the empty bottle from him, watching as he fell back asleep. Jack sighed in relief and drifted off himself.
Author's note: I'm aware it's short but it's a filler chapter so the next one makes sense. :^)
