Chapter 2
"Audition"
"Alright everyone get in your places, the music is about to start!" the dance audition instructor said
he was actually a choreographer, his name is Nick, he looks so familiar to me, kinda looks like Justin Bieber's dance choreographer but.... there's no way that could be him.
I let the almost insane thoughts leave my mind, so I could be fully focused on this audition
If I make this, it's my chance to be something in this world, and live my dreams.
If I break it.... I go back to my dad.
"GRACE CASTRO YOURE UP!" Nick said through the intercom
I went to the center of the dance floor and my music started playing and I quickly but perfectly did my dance
When the music stopped I was appalled by the whole room and waited for everyone to get up so we could do the group dance.
Once again the music started playing and everyone that came to try out started dancing.
I was so nervous but I made sure to keep up with the group...... the music stopped and Nick clapped for us all.
"Alright alright that concludes our dance audition, everybody take a seat I have a few announcements" he said and we all sat down
"I will be making phone calls to everybody who made it within the next 2 days you all did very well nice job" he said
"are we finding out who we're your dancers for?" a girl asked
"Oh no no no, not until you find out if you made it or not" Nick replied, a few sighs were let out before we all stood up to leave
"Grace Castro, please stay after if you would, everyone else may leave" Nick said.
What.. me? why me? I grabbed my bag and phone and walked over to Nick
"Uh hi" I said and he turned to face me
"Grace Castro?" he asked shaking my hand
"Uh yeah.... just Grace"
"Alright just Grace" he smirked
"The boss wants to see you"
"The boss?" I asked in disbelief
"Yeah, he watched everyone dance tonight and he specifically watched you" Nick explained
"What? why me?"
"Because a few years ago me, and the person you're dancing for got a phone call from your mother saying you'd die to get a spot on this tour" he said
I brought my hand over my mouth and tried to not cry
"Wait so, I get to find out who this tour is for?" I asked
"Yes ma'am, right in that room" he said, pointing to a closed door
"Okay thank you so much Nick" I said and ran over to the door
I knocked "come in" I heard a males voice say
"Hi" I said walking in the room
"Grace?" he said, coming out from behind the door
My mouth dropped open when I realized who was standing there
"You are Grace right?" He asked with a slight chuckle
I couldn't really speak right now so I just nodded my head
"Well, welcome to the tour" he smiled
Standing right in front of me was the one and only......
