Jake
I don't know why I kept coming back to that place or even why I like to see her and watch her work, walk or even talk. I don't know what it is about her but I can't stay away if I tried. I don't even know why I yelled at her. It's just the way she tries to define me and shit, she's not afraid but I see something inside of her and it looks like it's been buried all of these years and one day, she's going to blow and hopefully I will be there to pick up the pieces. I punched the wall and left a big ass hole in the wall and stalked out of my office and into my kitchen where, Martha, my maid was.
"Good morning, Mr.Summers, coffee?" She asked and I nodded.
She has been with me for about 6 years, ever since I became rich as some people say and I have a good job but it's not like a business man or CEO of a company, I am the boss of yeah you guessed it, the cartel and I deal drugs and that's how I get my money and how people fear me but yet Abigail doesn't. Martha knows about what I do and she still works for me without a complaint, maybe she's afraid that I will kill her. I have killed people before, yes, but I won't kill her.
I took my coffee from her and headed down stairs to my garage. I meet Sergio, my chauffeur and hopped in my car and he drove me to the warehouse, also my job. I work from wherever I feel like, mostly at my house but today I have to do some 'firing.' I smirked at that thought.
I walked in the warehouse and called Kevin and Jerry into my other office so I could fire them. They walked in and I knew they were scared and that made me happy, that they feared me.
"Do you both know why you're in here?" I asked, my voice calm and collective.
"No? Well I know you have been taking the drugs for yourselves and even pocketing the money you get when you sell and you know how I feel about, people who double cross me and don't give ME the profit, so I have no choice but to fire you. I even heard that you have been working with some other cartel," The look on their faces were priceless, "What you thought I wouldn't find out? I know everything and see everything, you just don't know it." I roared and stood up and stalked over to them.
"Come, on boss, please." Jerry begged and I smirked, pulled out the pistol from my pocket, aimed it at his head and shot it and he feel to the ground, limp. I turned towards Kevin and before he could scream, he was shot between the eyes and feel.
"Get rid of them." I said to Dave, he pretty much does what he is told without any complaining like a bitch. So do I like what I do? I guess you could say yes, the money is good but the 'taking away people life thing' doesn't feel good but also it doesn't feel bad either. I came to this job when my father passed away and I took over and made it better then he could ever have done. My mother begged me not to but I needed the money for us and she said she would work but she was ill to, so I stepped up and then 2 years ago, she was murdered by Franco Rossi, the leader of the other cartel but as he says 'he is more powerful and has more people on his side than I do' but I swore to my mother that I would kill him and make him beg for his stupid and puny life.
I walked out of the warehouse and told Sergio to go to the place I seem I can't stay away from; the cafe. I walked in and saw her, standing behind the counter with her strawberry blonde hair straightened, her uniform that fits just right on her body and she knew I was there because she looked up and met my eyes and she looked scared or even hurt.
If I stared a little longer, I would tell her a secret I have been hiding from her since the first day I talked to her or I would of have embarrassed myself and I don't do that, ever. I walked up to the counter and she knew what I wanted, knowing I didn't say a thing. She handed it to me and I took it and placed it on the counter. She looked at me with confusion and to be honest, I don't know what I was doing. What I said next shocked me too.
"Go out with me." I stated. I don't do the whole dates, relationships nor even have I ever loved someone, well I loved my mom dearly but she was taken away from me, that day I lost my mom, my heart and the feeling of love.
"No." Is all she said and I cocked my head to the side.
"Go out with me, love." I said a little more demanding this time.
"No." She said again and I hated it but loved her fighting with me, she was powerful and stubborn.
"Why not love?" I asked and she laughed.
"You're so self centered and so deep in your ego to not know why? You were all sweet to me and shit but god for bid, we touched hands or I offered you to help you turn into an complete asshole and you even had the audacity to kiss me, so excuse me, I have a customer to attend to, love." She spat at me and I was trying to comprehend what she just had said, I didn't have big ego, did I?
I walked out of the cafe and I was coming back, I always get what I want, no matter what or who it is. Who could say no to me? Okay, maybe I do have a big-ish ego.

I pulled up to the cafe at exactly 7:00, which is when her shift ended and she walked out of the cafe and headed towards her apartment. I know when her shift ends because, yes I did a background check on her and mostly know everything about her. I got out of my car and jogged up to meet her and she scoffed at my presence and I smirked.
"Listen love, I always get what I want." I emphasized the love and she stopped walking and turned and looked at me.
"Oh really? Guess you're not getting me and your poor ego is going to get damaged, isn't it?" She said snarly. Good god, she knows how to get under my skin.
"Just go out with me and I promise you will have the time of your life, I will be nice. Love, what do you say?" I said more sweetly, and she thought about it hard.
"Fine, I will but that's it." She sighed and I smiled.
"I'll will pick you up tomorrow, at 8, at your apartment." I said and she started walking away but I said something and she stopped in her tracks.
"Told you I always get what I want." She stopped and I walked away with a big grin on my face and I even chuckled to myself.
