Epilogue

*10 years later*

I'm 26 years old now and am still with Nathan. I just finished collage. I drive back to my small apartment from work and walk in.

Nathan lives in a condo not to far from me. As soon as I plop on the couch my phone vibrates.

hey love, could you meet me in the park meadow for a date?- Nathan

I'd love to.  I reply.

Nathan is still very romantic and we go out on dates at least twice a week.

I get out of my work cloths, I work at a doctors office as a secretary, and take a quick shower. I put on a dark purple dress and some heels to match it.  I'm out the door and on my way in no time.

I'm walking through the meadow remembering the memories. Nathan telling me his secret, And my most fond memory. The kiss. When the rain was pouring and I had Finlay realized Nathan was the one. That was nearly 10 years ago.

I spot Nathan next to a oak tree off to the side near the small forest and I walk over to him. Once I reach him I hug him and he hugs me back with his strong arms. He then grabs my hand making sparks fly still after all this time.

Nathan grabs my other hand and we stand there hand in hand, face to face. He asks me,

" Jane, do you love me?"

" Yes, yes I do." I say with a smile.

He then grabs something out of his pocket. It's a small box. I think to myself, Nathan and his gifts. I smile at the thought. He then gets down on his knee and opens the box. A beautiful gold ring with a single sapphire pops out. I gasp.

" Jane Summers will you marrie me? Yes or No?" Nathan asks.

tears stream down my face. there not tears of sorrow their tears of happiness. With a smile on my face I breath out a simple yet meaningful one word,

" Yes."

Nathan stands up and we kiss. Not just any kiss it was a kiss full of love. A single breathless kiss.

And I am truly happy to say that this was not a mistake at all.
