Thor was very kind, showing me around the palace and filling me in on what was going on. After showing me to my room, which was down the hall from the royal rooms, Thor excused himself to speak with Odin in the throne room. So I decided to explore.
I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, and I found myself standing in front of a pair of carved mahogany doors. I carefully opened the doors and I poked my head around the corner. I found no one.
Looking around, I seemed to have found myself in a library of sorts. I walked over to the nearest shelf and pulled out a random book. 'The Works of William Shakespeare.' Huh? Must be Midgardian. I took the book over to a nearby chair and sat down with it in my lap, opening to a random page. 'Romeo and Juliet.'
As I began to read, I didn't notice someone approaching. When I felt a hand on my shoulder, I dropped my book and jumped out of my skin. I bent to pick the book back up, and came face to face with the raven haired prince.
"I pray you don't make a habit out of scaring the wits out of everyone," I murmured, putting the book back on the shelf. I turned and found him to be grinning at me.
"I beg pardon, milady. I am Prince Loki, God of Mischief."
"Pleasure to meet you, Loki. I'm Luna. I didn't know Asgard had such a splendid library," I murmured, gazing around in awe.
"Yes, this is one of many wonders Asgard has to offer," Loki murmured back, extending his arm to me. I took it graciously, and Loki led me out of the library and out of the palace. "So, Luna. What brings you to Asgard?" I looked at Loki in confusion.
"You mean you don't know?" When Loki looked at me in confusion, I continued. "I'm to be wed to one of Asgard's princes. And I'm to decide which one," I whispered. When I was met with silence, I chanced a look at Loki. He was smirking down at me. I raised an eyebrow.
"This ought to be fun then, darling," Loki whispered in my ear.
