It was the last day of the year. I met him outside the examination hall for the first time. He was just like any other guy in this town. At that time I didn't knew he would turn my world upside down.

"Woah!! It feels so relieved, finally done with each of them especially these "trignometry!"." I was talking to my friend, Leyla.

"Yes! Good that this subject didn't gave me that hard time." Leyla was saying as we were walking towards parking.
"So what are you planning now?"

"Nothing special I would go to my dad's clinic. He wanted to see me before he leaves for Washington."
I told her.

That's when suddenly my eyes caught this guy walking hurriedly in our opposite direction looking at something behind me sternly.
He was head taller than me. His hairs we're black and short but messed enough to make him look a stud. He was not too muscular but muscular enough to keep away all the troublesome guys from himself.
He was dusky and had a sharp way of walking. For a moment I thought he saw me checking him out and I looked away quickly.

He seemed so much like a beast or those shape shifter I had read about in the book called The fact behind the fangs. Yes, I do believe in that once there were humans who had super natural powers, like werewolves and wizards. But seriously I don't believe in vampires I mean there can't be someone having eternal life. The existence and extinction of werewolves and wizards can be explained scientifically but vampires according to hypothesis they should exist now but there we won't find traces, do we?

I love this kinds of folk believes but if my parents would knew of it then I will be grounded for almost like forever! And trust me I can't live without them. Though my mom had caught me visiting those sites and I was threatened twice to be grounded and then finally I was grounded for almost a week when Leyla came for my rescue.

Though Leyla knows of my love in this folk believes she never was interested in it and infact she did her best to keep those book of mine away from me.

"So let's go together I will meet Mr.Taylor and ask him for some good cosmetics suitable for my skin."
Leyla was saying. And I got distracted.

I had almost ignored him completely but just after a step or two, I knocked into him. So hard that for a moment I thought I walked into the concrete wall!

"Ow! Freak!" I cried in pain and tumbled upon my feet.

"Hell! I am so sorry! I wasn't watching for you." He held me by arm to keep me from falling.
How can someone's grip be so tight.

"It's okay! You don't have to." I said formally.

We were too close that I could see he was wearing lenses of dark brown colour and his jaws were so well defined, I didn't know I was burning because of anxiety in my stomach or his body temperature was more than normal.

"Watch out you!
Are you fine dear?"
Leyla asked and he finally loosened and then freed the grip.

"Yeah I'm fine Leyla." I told her before she gets into her mother mode.

"If you would excuse me."
He said apologetically.

"Yes, yes of course."
And we dismissed.
Again, I stepped on something
Oh! it was someone's identity card.

"James Cullen"
I called after the same guy.

"Your ID. I found here."
I said as he came back. This time a bit more calm.

"Oh yes! thank you! Miss?"
He said.

"Emrale. Emrale Taylor. And that's my friend Leyla Perks"
I said shortly. I am not too fond of my name. And we shook hands.
