Nellie's POV
I sit down in the dead center of the Theater right next to Ryeli and prepare to see Hamilton: An American Musical. What I've hoped and dreamed of since I was Eleven. I look through the Playbill and see that we have the regular cast. I mentally prepare myself to see Hamilton and the lights dim in the Theater. I here the first few chords of Alexander Hamilton come on and see Daniel Breaker come onstage as Aaron Burr. "How does a Bastard, Orphan, Son of a whore and a Scotsman...." I focus into the story and suddenly thought go through my head. I think about in a little while from now, I will be right behind that stage hearing the song on my Broadway debut night. The rest of the song goes on and I get obsessed with the cast. Then Aaron Burr, Sir, My Shot, and The Story Of Tonight. Soon, The Schuyler Sisters. Mandy, Lexi and Joanna slay it. I laugh during all of King George's songs, Satisfied makes me cry, All of Mandy's emotions come out and it brilliant. Guns and Ships, James slays Daveed. Yorktown. I can't believe it when I'm seeing Yorktown live. It makes me cry and cheer and makes me have so many different emotions. Then, The Laurens Interlude even though I knew it was coming, had me sobbing and had Ryeli sobbing too. Then Non- Stop about killed me. Before we knew it, It was act two.
Ryeli's POV
When James came out as Jefferson I knew I was in for a fun time. I mean it wasn't Daveed Diggs, but, it was amazing. Then Cabinet Battle 1 had me laughing my ass off. Take A Break was amazing and I really loved how Lexi and Mandy acted together. Then Say No To This was actually pretty cool and Nellie was super into it. When Daniel did The Room Where It Happens I had a literal out of body experience. He was a cinnamon roll and the rest of the audience agreed because he got a long standing ovation after the song ended. Washington on your side was hilarious and One last time had me crying. Hurricane was amazing with the ensemble all tying the story together. The Reynolds Pamphlet was funny and Lexi slayed Burn. Blow us all away, Stay Alive Reprise, and It's quiet uptown, Yet again had me crying. Then The Election Of 1800 was amazing and so was Your Obedient Servant and Best of Wives and Best of Women. Finally I sobbed during the world was wide enough and Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story. Then the cast went up for the curtain call. We cheer so loud. I am so grateful that I got to see Hamilton.
Nellie's POV
After the show, we are allowed to go onstage and meet the cast. I tell James how amazing he was and get to talk to my favorite Ensemble member Eliza Ohman. Then Mandy comes over to Ryeli and I with Lexi and Joanna. "Lexi look at her earrings." Mandy says. "Omg. Those are so cool." Lexi says. "What did you guys think of the show?" Joanna asks. "It was good. But, I was mourning my youth and the lack of love." I say. Everyone laughs. And Joanna puts her head in her hands. Then Ryeli almost trips over something. "Ryeli, be careful, that's our ghost light." Mandy says. "I was right! Ryeli, don't try to get Thespis mad at you." I say. Lexi laughs. "I'm not." Ryeli says. "Wait, Lexi isn't it bad luck to wear blue in the Theater?" I ask. "You believe in those theatre superstitions?" Lexi asks me. "Maybe..." I say. Joanna smiles. "Shouldn't you guys get going? You guys need to get some sleep for tomorrow." Mandy says. "Okay." We say. We say goodbye to the girls and take a cab back to the hotel. We go back into our room and Ryeli takes a shower and I change into my nightgown. I lay down in my bed and Ryeli changes and gets into the other one. She through her Instagram. "Mandy says go to sleep." Ryeli tells me, looking up from Mandy's dm. "Okay. Good night Ryeli." I say turning over and going to sleep. "Good night Nellie." She says.
