Chapter 6

*Skip the car ride to restaurant*
Y/n and Ed made their way into the restaurant. "Ed this is beautiful."
"A beautiful restaurant for a beautiful girl." He said with a smile.
"Table for 2?"
"We actually have reservations, under Honoret."
"Ahh yes, this way."
You both walked behind her and sat at your table.
"Your waiter will be right over."
"Thank you." Ed said and you both smiled.
Y/n looked up from her menu and saw Ed busy on his phone. She decided to strike up a convo.
"You know what you're getting Ed?"
"Huh? Yeah the grilled chicken with white rice."
"Sounds nice..."
"How about you?"
"Umm grilled chicken with pasta."
"Uhh, that's good. I've had it before."
"You've been here?"
"Yeah with my girl- with my friend that's a girl."
"Okayy.."
The waiter came over and took your orders, "The food would be out in half an hour" The waiter said. Y/n looked over at Ed and he was on his phone again.
"I'm sorry, you asked me on this date but you're phone is more interesting."
" No, sorry y/n. Brandon is texting me making sure I'm back home."
"Oh sorry. Carry on then."

Edwin's POV
They have been at the restaurant for about 30 minutes and his ex keeps texting him. Before Ed met y/n, Tiffany Bondoc and him were dating but then she asked to go on a break, talking about she needed space. So he felt lonely and hit up y/n. Ed likes y/n but Tiffany is someone he loves. He lied to y/n and said it was Brandon because he didn't want to ruin this date. While in thought the waiter brought over their plates.
"Hey Ed is everything okay?"
"Uh yeah just thinking. You like your meal?"
"Yes, it's amazing. The chicken perfect." She said while y/n put her fingers together and kissed them.
"I'm glad you like it." He smiled at her.

The rest of the night Edwin was distant throughout the whole dinner. They finished up eating, payed, then left. On their way to the car y/n looked over at Ed, "Are you sure everything's okay, you've been distant the whole night and on your phone."
"Yeah, everything is okay now, how about you come back to the house."
"Okay, I guess that'd be fine."
They got into the car and made their way back to the house. Edwin parked  the car and they walked into the house.
"I'll meet you upstairs, I'm getting some water."
"Okay"
'Babe please answer your phone, I want you back. Please answer me Eggie?'
'Yes?'
'Babe can we get back together, I miss you. I made a mistake of going on a break.'
'Do you really want to get back together with me Tiff?'
'Yes Eggie, can I come over now?'
'No, come over tomorrow morning. I'm super tired right now babe.'
'Okay see you tomorrow morning babe.'
'Okay goodnight, I love you.'
'I love you more.'
After that Edwin laid down, closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Y/N's POV
Y/N got some water and made her way up the stairs. She was pulled into a room and the male started to kiss her. She didn't pull away, it felt right. Y/n reached up to the males hair to feel dreads? She instantly pulled away and turned the light on.
"Zion?? What are you doing, you're not Edwin."
"No but we could finish what we started." Y/n looked at the floor. Zion lifted her chin up to look at him.
"Zion he's your band mate , your brother.."
"He wasn't too careful with keeping you. Listen babygirl we both know you liked the kiss between us so, we could carry-" y/n cut Zion off by kissing him. Zion lifted y/n so he was holding her and made his way to the bed. He laid her down and they continued to kiss. Nothing more happened but some hickey's left on the both of them. Y/n decided she would sleep in Zion's room as she would feel guilty going back to Ed's.

It was the next day and y/n was woken up by the heavy arm laid across her torso wrapped around it pulling you closer. Y/n turned over to reveal a sleeping Zion, he looked sexy while she examined his face. The way his mouth was slightly parted, the faintest snores coming from him. She was left breathless. "Who looks this good while sleeping?" Y/n whispered out loud. Looking at the time 11, she decided to get up and make breakfast for her and Zion. Trying to get out of his grip was impossible. Y/n moved the dreads out of his face and kissed his forehead.
"I'm going to make breakfast for you and I."
Zion instantly let go.
"Mkphph" He mumbled into the pillow and kissed her on the cheek. She laughed to herself and made her way downstairs. While she was mixing the pancake mix there was a knock at the door. "Who is coming to the house this early?" Y/n said to herself while walking to the door. She opened it up to be met with a girl.
"Good morning, what can I help you with?"
"Hey, I'm actually welcomed here..."
"Oh who are you here for?"
"I'm Eggie's girlfriend"
"Edwin? Oh really? How long have you guys been together?"
"A couple of months, then we went on a break and got back together last night."
"Oh, Ed never told me he had a girlfriend, it's nice to meet you."
"Yeah, we were keeping it lowkey until the right time to bring it up to the beanz."
"Oh, that's great! So no one knows? Not even the guys?"
"No just you now."
"I feel honoured." Y/n sarcastically said but Tiffany didn't pick it up. She left Tiffany on the couch and went back to to making breakfast. A few minutes later y/n heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Babygirl who is the chick sitting on the couch?"
"That's Edwin's girlfriend Zion. Y/n said through gritted teeth slapping the batter on the pan. Zion took his seat and thought it was best to not ask her anything else and wait for the breakfast to finish up.

Tiffany then joined y/n and Zion in the kitchen.
"Do you need any help with breakfast?"
"No, I'm fine. Do you want any?" Y/n said with a with a fake smile.
"Sure, thanks."
Zion turned to her.
"So, what's your name?"
"Tiffany."
"How come Ed has never talked about you?" Just as she was about to answer y/n opened her mouth.
"Well Caleb, they wanted to keep it lowkey until it was the right time to tell the beanz."
"So you're his 'little secret'."
"Basically Z."
"You guys know I'm right here..."
"Yeah, I just thought you didn't want to repeat your story."
"Yeah..."

By then after the little chat Edwin made his way over to the kitchen.
"Heyy.."
"Good morning Ed, your girlfriend decided to join us for breakfast." Y/n fake smiled at him. He looked so confused.
"Good morning Eggie." Tiff said.
"Here's your breakfast Eggie." Y/n put emphasis on the last part. They all sat down at the table to eat and the rest of the guys made their way down as well.
"Who's this?" Brandon asked.
"It's Edwin's girlfriend, don't you know? Oh wait you don't because he didn't tell anybody yet." Y/n threw so much shade. Everyone caught on to what she was hinting at but Tiffany just sat there smiling like a proud girlfriend.

The rest of breakfast was awkward and nobody said anything. Everyone finished up, y/n was walking upstairs but had the urge to confront Ed. She let go of Zion's hand.
"Y/n just leave it alone."
"No Z!"
She walked up to Edwin. "You know what, you're a coward for not telling me you had a girlfriend, did you even like me? This whole time we spent together you were playing me? That's probably why you were on your phone the whole time during dinner last night. You don't deserve any girl."
"We were on a break and I felt lonely. I needed somebody."
"Oh so I was just someone you could fall back on, that makes everything so much better. You just forgot to tell me you had a girlfriend last night."
"Just how you forgot to tell me you were sleeping in Zion's bed last night."
"Don't turn this around on me, you had a whole ass girlfriend and nothing happened between us." Y/n motioned between herself and Zion.
"Yeah okay, so you didn't kiss him and he didn't give you those hickey's?"
"Why does it matter to you, we weren't together anyways."
"I like you but I love Tiffany."
"So there you go, you made your choice, what I did shouldn't affect you. Goodbye I'm going to my apartment have a great day. And Tiffany quick tip, ain't no girl ever wants to be any guys 'little secret'." Y/n made her way over to the front door and Zion yelled "I'm coming with you babygirl." They both walked out the front door, got into y/n's car and drove to her apartment.
