(Y/N)'s POV

"STOP!" I screamed as loud as I can.

Within a second, Violet flinched and dropped the knife to the ground while the poor girl run as fast as she can to me and started saying, "Thank you.." she smiled, wiping her tears away.

"It's okay," I smiled back.

I turned around and saw that Violet already run away. Immediately turning my confusion to concern, I turned my head towards the girl. "You all right?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yes, thanks, I look like a mess," she chuckled, and I looked closer at her. Locks of her hair were all over her face, beads of sweat was falling uncontrollably from her forehead, and the tears on her cheeks completed her look.

"Well, it's okay. Come on, let's clean you up," I smiled.

Not long after, she went home looking like she just spent a normal school day. Before she could leave, I immediately said, "What's your name?" I asked. She smiled at me, "I'm Emma Ashly, 9th Grade, B-4 section,"

I smiled, "(Y/N) (L/N), same grade and section,"

She said her last goodbye and thanks then left as I did as well. I looked at my watch and saw that it was already 4:47, so I quickly placed all my books inside my locker and run to my friends. "What took you so long?" Bonnie asked. Called it.

"Um.. one word: Violet," I said, they all gasped. "What happened? Did she do anything to you? Are you hurt? Are you-"

"I'm fine! I'm okay, Ash!" I shouted. He sighed in relief as I rolled my eyes. I loved that he cared for me, but honestly, it gets annoying too when he asks too much. "Besides, it wasn't me that got hurt," I explained. "Then.. who..?"

"A girl I met just now, her name's Emma and she's in the same section as we're in," I said. "She was.. attacked by Violet. I saw her pinned to the locker, and Violet holding a knife to her neck."

They all gasped, "You think this has something to do with the flower?" Serena asked. I nodded, "Maybe.. just maybe, that she's trying to find the killer of someone she love.."

"Just like in the book Hannah told us," Clemont commented. I nodded again, then looked around. She's not here. "Where is she anyway?"

"Hannah?" Ash asked. I nodded, "She said she's busy so she left early."

"Oh, okay,"

Silence fell among us when Serena said, "She's just like.."

"Maddie," I finished, my voice quiet. They all nodded. "That's why I had to save her. I don't want anyone to go through what I went through.."

Silence.

"Umm.. you guys.. wanna go home now?" Clemont said. We all nodded.

We said our goodbyes and headed to our home, unanswered questions swriling inside our head.
