The kiss lasted 15 seconds before i pulled away slowly.
"Beth...i.." She cut me off with another soft kiss on my lips which i lent into , smiling and enjoying the sensational moment. I cupped her cheek and ran my hand down and into her hair. Eventually we pulled away again.
"That was Amazing" she grinned kissing my cheek making it warm up and go bright red.
"It certainly was...it was quite a shock though. Wasn't expecting that" i chuckled and just looked into her crystal blue eyes.
"Me neither , i just..you know when something inside you keeps trying to tell you something, butterflies trying to break free from my chest and stomach...like everything was drawing me to you.." She giggled and shook her head "i know it probably sounds stupid" .
"No i completely get you, i feel the same way" i whisper and take her hand linking our fingers. "What happens between us now?" I ask softly and gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Maybe we should just sleep on it. I think i know what i want but lets not rush until we know" she suggested and i nodded
"Sounds like a good idea to me...as long as when i sleep i get to be by you" i winked and she punched my arm lightly laughing
"oi you!" She laid back on the bed and i followed not long after . i just stared at the ceiling smiling to myself. I felt a small arm slid over my waist and her head gently rest on my chest. it felt so amazing, she made me feel safe and like i had two feet on the ground. Her leg slowly entangled with mine and i just let it happen. I kissed her forehead
"Goodnight beautiful" i whispered by her ear but she was already drifted off into a deep sleep. I closed my eyes and let my mind drift into a deep sleep.
I looked up from my desk at the sound of footsteps. A certain blonde beauty head into the room wearing a short white cropped shirt along with blue skinny jeans that suited her perfectly . Much nicer than the police uniform i had to wear. She was carrying two coffees and my face grew into a bigger grin.
"Hey beautiful , i thought id being you some refreshments. I swear you've been working on that police report All night" Beth rolled her eyes at me and put the coffee beside the papers . i looked up at her to be met by soft pinky lips pressed against mine.
"thanks baby, im sorry but its about a sheriff who got shot in a car chase so its kinda important. i promise 5 more minutes and i will come with you" i smirked and sipped my coffee.
"if you do, i will give you a surprise when you get home" she winked and i just laughed
"Alright now i really wanna get home" i replied and she sat on my lap wrapping her arms around my neck "i love you so much" i said quietly by her ear.
"i love yo..."
My eyes opened at the sound of movement in the bed. Damn it was the first good dream in forever. I sat up a bit and looked down at Beth who was just looking back up at me.
"We should head out to the others"she said quietly and i rubbed my eyes.
"OK lets go"
