That One Moment

Not just a regular day

         Hi, my name is Alexandra and I just turned 17 on Feb. There are many good things that happen in life to others but, for me I'm just bad luck.
      "Alexandra let's go you will be late for school" yelled mom
   Ohhh did I forget to tell y'all, it is my first day of school.
        " Ok mami, I'll be down in a sec" I replied
         This school year is just the usual : get good grades, no boys, annoying teachers, and people. I am going to be honest I don't like seeing people faces at school but I do have friends and they amuse me.
         When I got to my school my mom pulls over
     "Have a great day hunny" said mom
       "Gracias Mami te veo más tarde" as she got out of the car, she is standing there like she's new.
          When she was ready, Alexandra walks with her earbuds in and minds her business until one of her friends walk towards her.
         " Hi Alexandra, we are going to in the same class again but only for 3 classes"
           " Hey Sandra, yeah I know I read my schedule" Alexandra smiles
       Sandra smiles back at Alexandra until the bell rang.
         " I see you 3 period bye Alexandra" said Sandra
           She waves at Sandra and goes inside the school
         After that small talk, Alexandra walks to her classes and tried to pay attention.
         It is 1:00 pm and she
   has one more hour until the first school day ends.
       " Ugh I miss my bed, just thinking about makes me miss it more" she sighs
        She has always thought about her life, what if she is going to be alone?  Or even die alone? There are things that happen in her life that is kept to herself, no one even her parents don't know. Alexandra wants the memory to be erase because thinking about it makes her feel regretful and unhappy.
         As she was dazing off to the ceiling in class. The teacher calls her name.
         "Alexandra can u introduce yourself to the whole class" ask the teacher
          Alexandra doesn't like presentation because she had to stand up and face the people looking at her so, it pretty much makes her uncomfortable.
        " Hi, my name is Alexandra Diaz and I'm from Colombia but, born in New York nice to meet you all" she sits down and everyone claps.
         She felt relieved and glad that she didn't studder.
          At 2:28 class has ended, she saw her mom in the car so she was Soo excited.
       For not thinking about looking both sides of the street a boy pulled her from her waist to the sidewalk.
        " Hey look both sides of the street when your crossing" as he look at her face, he remembers that it is the girl that introduce herself to the class.
         That was the first time out of her entire life she encounters a boy. A BOY!!
        " Yeah sorry I was just happy about leaving the school" Alexandra chuckles
         "Aren't we all are, but we still have to be careful on where we are going you don't want to lose ur precious interesting life do u?"
         " Interesting? My life? My life is not interesting at all, it's the same at every year"
           Her mom beeps the wheel telling her to hurry up
           " Well I have to go by the way thank you for saving me have a nice day"
          "Hey what's your name"
       "My name is Alexandra what is yours"
         "Welp my name is Liam from your English class"
           As he waved at her bye; she gets in her car giving her mom a hug and telling her she was not hurt. Finally they drove off.
            Liam is standing there staring as they drove off until his friends called for him.
          Alexandra starts to  freaks out because it was the first time she meets a boy and exchange names. As she stared at the sky, from that moment on her life wasn't going to be the same at all.
