Camila's POV
"Hey, how are you feeling?" I looked back at the reflection and saw my mom, standing behind me while fixing my veil. She's looking back at me and smiling at me widely while I check myself out on the mirror.
"I am nervous and excited at the same time." I breathed out and tuck some strands of my hair behind my ear while I keep glancing to my tummy then look at my wedding dress the to my face. "Do I look okay, mama?" I asked my mom and she nodded her head.
"You look amazing, mija." She said while she place her hand on my arm and rub her palm slowly on it.
"Are you sure? Don't I look a little too fat?" I bit my lower lip anxiously and glance at my reflection again.
I don't know why I'm so worried that Y/N will change her mind and back out in our own wedding if she sees me right now. I'm not ugly, I'm just- I'm not a little too confident to myself. I don't know why I'm being like this, maybe because my baby bump is a little more obvious and that my wedding dress had to be adjusted three times because it doesn't fit in. Well, it's not my fault that I'm already five months pregnant.
Y/N and I found out that I was pregnant when we got engaged- and that was a week after that happened. The doctor told us that I was already ten weeks long, and that news didn't even shocked us, I was- well, we were kinda expecting that I will get pregnant because of Y/N and I's unprotected sex a couple of times. And I know this is not Justin's kid, I'm a hundred percent sure of that and so is Y/N. She knows that she's going to be my baby daddy.
"Stop worrying, Karla. You look so incredibly beautiful, my mija." I heard my dad said. I turn my body around and saw him wearing a black tux and he is trying not to burst out in to tears.
"I am?" I asked him and he couldn't help but bobbed his head up and down without hesitation. "I feel like I'm ugly and that my dress is going to pop any moment now because of my baby bump." I confessed as I bit my lower lip and chew it anxiously.
"You don't look ugly, don't say that. I know when Y/N sees you, she will rain you in compliments because you look so amazing." My father told me reassuringly and I can't help but sighed in relief.
"Do you mean that?" I asked him and he nodded his head without hesitation.
We heard a knock that made the three of us snapped our head back and saw my little girl wearing a beautiful light blue gown and a flower crown on top of her head, she grin as she looks at me. "Mama!" She exclaimed and makes her way to me.
I slowly crouch down to reach her level and she immediately went to me and kiss my cheek. "Mama, you're so beautiful." She said as she keeps eyeing me while having a genuine smile on her lips.
"I am?" I asked my daughter and she nodded her head.
"Yeah, you look like a Disney princess." Daniela said and I can't help but kiss her forehead. "I am too, right?" My daughter asked while looking at her beautiful gown.
"Of course, we both are Disney princesses." I gushed and she smiled really widely.
I look at Daniela and saw her holding an envelope in her right hand. "What's that baby?" I pointed at what she's holding.
"Oh, Mommy wants me to give this to you." She handed it to me.
I took it from her hand and she look back and saw her grandparents. She've been really close with them these past few months. And I'm so happy that my parents really accepted her with all their hearts. I remember the look on their faces when they first saw Danny. They both bursted in tears and cannot stop from asking for my forgiveness for what they did to me six years ago. I told them that I already forgave them.
To be honest, after I got kicked out of the house, I already know that it's would be really impossible for us to be together again. I didn't expect that my family would ever want to talk to me again or them, still claiming me as their daughter. I didn't expect that they would be here in my own wedding. And I'm really thankful for Y/N, for everything she've done for me and my family. I'm so lucky that I'm marrying the person who I love the most.
I slowly open the envelope and saw a piece of paper. I look at my family and my parents, including my daughter gave me a small nod, indicating for me to read it. I take a deep breath and started reading the letter that came from Y/N.
Karla Camila Cabello-Y/LN (soon),
Hi my beautiful bride. I woke up early today bursting with excitement as it is our wedding day. This is the day we have been preparing for and today we will make good on our promise to commit to each other forever. I thought that the day we got betrothed was the happiest day of my life but nothing has prepared me for the overflowing happiness I am feeling now as I wait to meet you in the altar.
As I was getting dressed up, the memories of our love came flooding back to me. I remembered the day I met you and Daniela. I still wonder what good I have done in this world to deserve you and that beautiful kid of yours. I remembered the good times we shared and I’m thankful that it was with me you shared them with. I also remembered the bad times and I’m thankful as well that we survived those.
I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I can almost imagine you walking towards me as you do the traditional bridal walk, ever lovely in your flowing white gown that is the product of several changing of minds. I want this day to be perfect especially for you.
It has always been my way to try not to give in to cheesiness but this time I’ll make an exception. After all, I am marrying the most special woman in the world and that entitles me to give in to my emotions. Better hold on to this letter because I cannot promise you many letters but I promise you my love, devotion, fidelity, and protection.
Up to the last breathe of my life, I will love you without condition. I will be true to you in the face of the gravest temptation. I will protect you and Daniela. I will keep you, Danny and our soon to be kid/s safe, whatever it takes to do that.
My love is not perfect like I am, but this will not prevent me from trying to be such in your eyes. If I fail along the way, remind me, reproach me, love me, until I return to my senses. You, and only you can lead me back.
With so much love,
Your soon-to-be wifeI tried my best not to drop a single tear as I finished reading the letter from Y/N. My heart started pounding really fast as I started imagining my daughter and I's future with her. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
I walk to the dresser and grab the small envelope that's been there since this morning. "Baby," I called my daughter whose busy talking with her grandfather.
My dad pointed at me as he talks with Danny and my six-year-old, almost seven, look back at me and went up to me. I gave her the small envelope, "Can you give this to Mommy?" I asked her and she nodded her head without hesitation. "Thank you, my beautiful princess." I plant a soft kiss on her forehead and she went out of the room.
I compose myself and glance at the mirror one more time befor my dad speak up, "Let's go outside? Your future wife might be waiting for you," I look at him then gave him a warm smile.
My mom went to my left side while my dad loop my right arm on his left and the three of us walked out of the room.
I take a deep breath as we started making our way to the beach. Y/N and I decided that we should do a beach wedding since my soon-to-be wife knows that I'm super obsessed with beaches and sun. And she also knows how much I love watching the sun kissing the ocean as she sets down, because who wouldn't be amazed seeing the sun setting down and the color of the sky is changing?
