~Cadence's Pov~
It was so dark. It was so cold. It was so...nothing. My mind was hazy and I was so confused on how it is I ended up in a cold, dark void full of nothingness.
-It's only dark if you allow it to be- A voice spoke in my head, scaring the crap out of me.
"And who are you?"
-I'm Dedra. Your wolf- I didn't expect that.
"You know I'm not sixteen yet right?" She laughed, which was kind of weird considering she was a wolf.
-Yes I know that but you're ready-
"Actually I'm unconscious and cold and it's dark. So if what you're saying is that I'm ready to leave this place and wake up, then yes I am."
-You chose to be in the dark. This isn't my fault-
"Why the crap would I choose to be in the dark? That makes no sense."
-It's where you feel more comfortable- Is she speaking in freaking riddles?
"So how do I get some light in here?"
-Want it- Oh my god.
"Am I supposed to know what that means?"
-I thought you were smart but if you can't even figure this simple thing out then maybe you're really not ready- That makes me so angry. Whatever the crap it is she is talking about I am so ready for it and I will not stand here and let her call me stupid. The room all of a sudden snapped to brightness, a white wolf standing a few feet from me, a mischievious look in her eyes.
"So you were standing here watching me this entire time? You are a-"
-I will leave you alone in this plain room if you finish that sentence- I glared at her, so wanting to finish my sentence.
"Why are you here?" I asked through gritted teeth.
-I told you. I'm here to join you in that body of yours-
"I never agreed to this."
-That's the fun part. You don't really have a choice- She walked around me, the click of her claws echoing around the room.
"So you're not even going to wait for me to heal? You're just going to force me to shift."
-The shift will be more painful but you will be healed afterwards. Maybe. I think that witch chick screwed you up or something because I have been trying to get through to you for weeks and there was just this huge brick wall in the way. Well it seemed like it at least-
"So what if I don't heal?"
-The shift back will be a pain in the butt-
"You are not doing that to me. I refuse."
-That will just make it harder on you kid. I'm not going to stop and if you just push against me, you could possibly die-
"So you're going to risk me dying just so you can be in my body." My voice started to rise.
-No. You're going to risk you dying just so you can keep me out of you're body. If you let it happen though, it will be quick and not as painful-
"But still painful."
-Well your bones are snapping in half- I think I hate her.- Follow me-
"Where are we going?"
"To the place in your mind that you didn't even know existed." She broke her circle and started walking in a straight line. I followed her through the empty space until color started to show and it became less empty. When she stopped, we were standing in a house I didn't recognize.
"Who's house is this?"
-You know-
"No I don't think I do."
-Look around- I did as she said, walking around and looking at pictures and anything else there was, but I couldn't place anybody.
"Still no clue."
-Oh my god you would swear you were sheltered-
"I was."
-You went to jail-
"On purpose."
-Anyway- She glared at me.- I'm not telling you where we are so I am going to sit here and let you figure it out yourself- Then she laid down and put her head on her paws.
"I have never been here before dude. I don't know." She just hummed and acted as if she could no longer hear me. I groaned and stomped up the steps, looking at pictures on the walls and seeing no signs of actual life. This makes no freaking sense." How the crap does she expect me to know where I am if I have never been here before? Like I'm not the freaking moon goddess."
"Well obviously not. That would be weird." I jumped when I heard the girly voice and turned, shooting a fireball that would've actually came out if this was the real world. Then when I saw a lady that was wearing a long flowy white dress with a flower crown and a smile on her face, I rolled my eyes.
"Listen lady. I'm not exactly in the mood for whatever this is so whoever you are, leave and we won't have to."
"My name is Alexa."
"Good for you."
"I'm the moon goddess."
"Great. Is that all you wanted?" She laughed, her laugh sounding all pretty and light and princessy, it made me want to puke.
"You are very interesting. A lot more than your mother, that's for sure."
"That's because my mother raised me."
"That would make sense." She agreed.
"Not really. Now, I'm going to get back to looking and while I do that, you can disappear."
"Oh Cadence." She sighed." Most people would be afraid to speak to me as disrespectfully as you just did."
"Yea well I'm not most people and technically it's not disrespect if I already asked you once to leave me alone and you chose not to listen."
"I'm pretty stubborn."
"You're not as stubborn as most people I've dealt with."
"I don't doubt it." Good for her. I rolled my eyes and went on to a bedroom, flipping the matress and shoving crap off of dressers." I'm here to help you."
"Unless you're sending me back to the real world then I don't need your help."
"I would say you do because right now all you're doing is trashing some young mans room instead of focusing in what it is Dedra actually wants you to find." I stopped with my hand barely touching the lamp I was about to shove off.
"Young man?"
"Well yea. I thought it was obvious
"If it was obvious then I would know where I was."
"Would you like to know now?"
"Why?" I asked suspiciously.
"Because it's not a secret." She shrugged.
"Ok. Then where am I?"
"You're at a bullies house. His name is Josh."
"Why am I at Josh's house?"
