(Sarah's POV)
"Sarah, you need to get a boyfriend you've been on your own for about a year now, time to move on." My best friend told me.

I guess she was right. I have been on my own for a year now, but that doesn't mean to say that I have to move on.

I had a boyfriend, we were together for about two to three years. I know it doesn't sound long, but it dragged. I honestly liked him, all until I found out he cheated half way through the relationship.

Not even half way, he cheated on me the first time on our one year anniversary.

"Easy for you to say, you've got the perfect boy friend who sings in a band. Who has cute chubby cheeks, wears beanies and will take you out places and treat you like an absolute princess." I rant, it's true. Michael and her are perfect for each other. They are inseparable, they are together all the time I'm surprised I got her on her own at the moment. This moment is rare, and it'll probably never happen again.

"Look, Mike and I are going on a date tonight..." She trailed off. God where is this going. "He has a friend, quite a good looking one who is currently single." She finishes. I stare at her in disbelief, I hate the thought of going on a so called date with some random person.

"No." I bluntly say. I pull out my laptop and place it on my lap. She looks at me with a sad stare. "Anyway, I bet he isn't that good looking." I shrug.

She pulls the laptop away from my lap, and starts rapidly typing on it. Watching her every move, I see a short smile come to her face and she turns the laptop around to reveal a boy on the screen.

Safe to say, the boy was perfect. He had dark hair, pulled back. He also had dark brown eyes. He was wearing a pug life jumper, which made me giggle a little bit.

His looks were all well and good, but what if he is a horrible person?

"Good looking, right?" She smirks, I nod in agreement with her.

"Have you ever met him?" I ask still looking at the beautiful boy on my screen.

"Of course, he is lovely, that's the truth." She nods. I bit my lip and look back at the picture debating on weather to go or not.

There are positives and negatives to going. Positive, I would meet a lovely boy who also has good looks. Negative, what if he doesn't like me?

"What if he doesn't like me?" I blurt out. I wanted to say it, but not like that. That made me seem a little desperate, I'm not desperate.

"Well, I've asked Mike to show him a picture of you and he seemed to be pretty interested." She giggled. I blushed, I'm not used to boys actually liking me.

"Okay, I'll go." I agree.

"Yes! Now, the date is at four, that means you have an hour to get ready, I'm going to run home and get myself looking decent." She said running out of my room.

An hour? I have to look decent within an hour...

I pull myself out of the comfy bed that I was wrapped up in.

I slowly walk to my phone which is on charge and put on music... Five seconds of summer!

"She looks so perfect standing there in my American apparel underwear, and I know now that I'm so down...." I sang.

I walked to my wardrobe and pulled out a couple of dresses.

A long black maxi dress which reaches my knees? Yes. I'll put a denim jacket over the top.

I run to the bathroom and quickly turn on the shower turning it up to the heat I wanted.

Once I was done I wrapped the towel around me and ran to the bathroom. I looked at the time it ten past three.
