I'm dark and unformed
Calloused and grey
With just a hint of sparkle
To mix up your day
I can't seem to follow
A straight and simple line
I'm full of contradictions
But I suppose that's fine
Bubbly and dull
Shy yet bold
Enthusiastic and depressed
Dirt yet gold
People say I'm funny
And I don't believe that's true
And yet I laugh at myself
Like an insane fool
I switch back and forth
Chipper then sad
It seems too short a time
For all the emotions I've had
