The Portal

Chapter IX Surprise

(Thepro716 POV)

When I get a little closer, I realize he's look a little different. I dodge a bullet and teleport back into battle.

I dodge a sword and stab the owner. I get surrounded by a bunch of guys and dodge a bunch of their swords. I get hit I'm the arm with an arrow and teleport away, where it pull the arrow out and drink some of my healing potion.

I teleport back into battle, to find the mobs being gunned down again. I grab a bow off the ground and start shooting at humans. I hit one in the face, then another in the chest.

One guy refuses to die. He charges at me, chest full of arrows, until I take out my sword and decapitate him. I slice another in half and push him into this allies, who I quickly dispose of.

I hear the yells of mobs as they're getting shot. I hear a horn, and on the other side of the city, the wall crumbles as half creepers blow it up. I'm about to stab someone to my side when I realize it's Jack.

"They ought to be confused now eh?" He asks. I nod, and we charge into battle. Jack covers one side as I cover my right side. We cut a line right into the middle of the city, where a prison stands.

(Ender POV)

The attack I expected never came. A group of us climb up the ladder to see the doors burst open and two guys run in, stabbing and cutting all the way through to the middle of the room.

"Where are they! They should be here!" I hear one yell over the sounds battle. I immediately recognize the voice.

"Go get everyone, and tell em' we're getting out of here!" I say to one guy. He nods and jumps down the ladder. I charge out with my sword.

I charge towards the two, when an explosion goes off. Whatever it was hit me, and my armor took all the damage, but broke. Now I only have my sword.

I teleport towards the two and help them defend the middle. Some of the half-bloods jump out of the mine and start shooting the humans.

We clear the room and half-bloods come flooding out. We finally are winning this war.

(Thepro716 POV)

"Thanks for the help, Ender." I say.

He nods," No problem, if not for you, we would've been toast." He says. I nod. I turn back towards the door and run through back into battle.

I gasp at what I see. Most of the mobs are dead, and I see the pigmen getting slaughtered. I look to the front and see The General, wielding pistols, mowing down anyone that gets too close.

I see him turn and run in his army, and he is no longer seen. Jack, Ender and I run into the fight, slicing and stabbing anyone in our way.

We stop in the middle and start killing the soldiers. All of a sudden, they stop. Jack turns to look at us, disbelief in his eyes.

I hear the sound of a sword sliding out of its sheath, and before I can react, I see a flash of blue, and a diamond sword is sticking out if Jack.

His limp body falls and hits the ground, and behind him stands the General. He sheathes his sword and kicks Jacks body aside.

"How can you kill your own kind! He was one of us, and you killed him, just like all the others you killed. Your not a half-blood, your a cold blood!" I say to him.

He laughs a deep evil laugh. "Your right about one thing, I'm no half-blood. You must be mistaking me for my brother, who died in battle for his unworthy cause." He says.

I stare at him. "Your his brother? What's your name then?" I ask.

"The Governor, and I will see to it that the half-bloods are destroyed!" He says. With that he pulls out a pistol and shoots Ender twice.

I teleport right before Enders body hits the ground. The Governor charges after me, shooting wildly. I decide that I have to stop him.

I teleport towards him, but before I can bring my sword down on him, He kicks me and I drop my sword. I hit the gold hard ground right before the explosion.

The gleaming gold palace in the middle of the city crumbles, and slowly starts to fall. Then realization hits me in the face. We're in the middle of the city.

People scream as the tower falls, and everyone is running. I get up and sprint away, the Governor on my heels.

The tower falls, crushing many humans who did not escape. The cries of the ones who are covered and crushed fill the air. I get kicked down from behind. I roll over to we the Governor, sword raised.

"Die for your crimes." He growl.

"Well, now I must die, though I have committed no crime, NOT!" I unsheathe my sword, jump up and stab upward.

He screams as the sword goes in his eye. He falls backwards and hits the ground. I turn and run towards the heat of the battle, when it hits me. Jack and Enders bodies are buried under the building.

I get rid of the thought of their crushed bodies and keep running to the battle, where half-bloods are getting killed by the dozens.

I pick up a gun and spray and pray. With one fully loaded machine gun I take out 20 guys.

It soon turns dark, and mobs come from the shadows. The mobs surround the humans, creepers blowing them up, and the other mobs coming in to finish them off.

I hear a voice inside of my head. Thepro716, you must leave this place, evil has claimed this server, and nothin can stop it. I see a bit of my vision, this time I'm dead and the Governor is sheathing his sword.

Go into the portal, there is nothing we can do. He says. I glance to my left, and a blue portal opens up. I look around, but everyone is too busy fighting to notice, and I step through the portal.
