The woman in front of me lets out a gasp before turning assuming to my grandfather.
"No! I won't!" She yells. "What ever do you mean?"
"I won't do it to her. You didn't tell me it was Eclipse!"
"You know of her? Well. . I never said it wasn't Eclipse." He says my name with venom.
She turns back to me and we make eye contact.
I trip and tumble, sliding down the hill and landing painfully at the bottom. My whole body screams in pain, and it's not because of the fall.
I trip my side in pain and raise my hand to eye level to see it covered in blood.
"Help." I call out weakly, hoping beyond hoping that Elijha would come to me, preferably before I died.
"Elijha. . Help me," I call out, my voice hardly a yell. "I need help. . " I trail off as I put my hand back to my side, putting as much pressure as I can. "They were so mad," I whimper.
"So, so mad. . Elijha please. ."
I hear a twig snap and hope spreads through my body.
"Elijha?" I whisper, pain covering my whole body.
"I can't say that my name is Elijha. . But I can say that I could help you," I woman's voice enters my ears and I quickly turn my head in the direction her voice came from.
"Please," I say, knowing I will die if she doesn't.
The woman, dressed in odd attire made with dark fabrics, slowly approaches me.
"What happened to you?" She questions as she kneels down, moving my hand away from my wound and lifting my shirt to better see it.
"Oh my. ." She says. "Who-?"
"My pack. ." I whimper out and her hand flies from my skin.
"You are of the wolf species?" She asks, standing and stepping away.
"Yes? . . Can you please help me?"
"Are you unclear of what I am?" She questions me, looking around quickly.
"No?"
"I am Elaine, of the witch species."
"A. . Witch?" I question.
"Yes. . Are you clear of the fued between our species. . Or rather, the hate yours has for mine?"
"I don't hate you. . " I say as black dots begin to croud my vision. "Of course you don't right now. . But if I were to help you. ."
"I am Eclipse Night, werewolf and Omega of the Star pack, even if I wanted to, I could do no harm to you."
She looks at me surprised. "You are of Omega rank?" I nod my head as I grimace. She steps closer to me, kneeling down once again.
"You promise not to bring harm upon me?" I nod again and she hesitates before lifting my shirt again.
"Shy did they do this to you? We're they meaning to kill you?" She looks at me and I begin to reply when my head goes limp, my vision almost completely black.
"How long have you- oh now isn't the time for questions Elaine." He says before places her hands on my side, I cringe away from her and she closes her eyes, her mouth moving to form silent words the pain in my side slowly ebbs away, to soon leave only a throbbing pain, still painful, but not nearly as bad as before.
"Eclipse?" She questions, removing her hands and looking at me. I don't lift my head, my body weak, I do however mutter a whimper.
"I apologize. ." I shake my head. "You're f-fine." I say as I close my eyes, an ach making it's way into my head.
"That is one of the side effects of my magic. . It tends to give people migraines. ." I nod my head in response.
"I wish I had helped you sooner. . I was. . Worried." She states and I nod.
"Understandable, I happen to know that the Star pack h-hates Witches. You need not worry, they won't know of your existence."
"I appreciate that, Eclipse."
"I do not appreciate your sarcasm. I will not preform the ritual on her." She says.
"Restrain her." He says and almost immediately four wolves charge at her, pulling her arms behind her back and dragging her out of my view.
"Luckily I have a backup." Someone else enters my view and I hope back a growl.
"You're weak, luckily Alpha trusts me, and thanks to you I know a few incantations! Thanks for that, by the way, Elaine." The girl says as she turns to me, a glare filling her features.
"I hoped this would happen, Alpha has kept me away from you since he knows I greatly dislike you. You know, since you stole my mate." Beth says with a laugh.
"He won't want a mute mate. At least not one that will be eternally mute. That's just silly, he'll choose me for sure. Hope you like being single, mutt.
"Beth! Enough!" My grandfather yells at her and she growls. "With all due respect Alpha, I have been waiting since you got her two weeks ago! I have every right to-" he cuts her off with a laugh.
