Some people stood next to me, including a tall blond man. He was getting ready to go on stage, or so it looked like. He gave me a soft smile and started playing with the microphone. ''I'm Eben, hi.'' I shook his hand. ''Y/n.'' ''So I thought. Getting the baby of the group drunk I hear.'' We laughed at the comment. ''Jonah ordered, I just got him in.'' ''Well,-..'' The lights went out and I could hear the crowd screaming his name. ''Gotta go.'' I nodded and saw him literally jump on stage.
After some songs, he started talking to the crowd for a little. It was different, seeing a concert from the side of the stage. And whilst listening to Eben, I could see movement on the side across me.
Daniel was fixing his tie. He was wearing a black suit. ''Handsome, ain't he?'' I looked next to me and saw a smaller girl, around 20, looking at Daniel. ''Oh, yeah, sure.'' She smiled. ''Jossie. Daniels' girlfriend. You're hooking up with Jonah right?'' My face dropped. I don't like her. Not only because she's daniels girlfriend. My eyes left her and drifted back to the other side to see Jonah walking in my view. He was wearing a suit as well. I couldn't lie. They looked good. The lights went off again and Eben ran towards us. ''And? Oh, hi Josephine.'' His smile dropped a little as he saw the other girl, which made me happy somehow. ''Eben.'' They gave each other a nod and he pulled me back by my arm. ''Don't mind her. Spoiled girl.'' I chuckled. ''Noticed that part.'' He smiled and took off the headpiece and handed it including the microphone to one of the staff. ''Lets change sides.'' We could hear the fans shouting 'Why don't we' and not much later, music started playing. We were running behind the stage just to see the first one of the boys leaving the side and heading on the stage. Corbyn. I smiled and continued walking until my body shut down, my breath got stuck in my troat. Daniel slowly walked onstage. His voice soft as a cloud. I couldn't stop looking at him, Zach went on stage and I could feel hot air next to my ear. ''Thank you for coming.'' I finally was able to look away from the boy and saw Jonahs face right next to mine, not much space for us to move. But I wasn't able to answer because just seconds later he walked on stage, followed by Jack a little later.
''Say it.'' I looked at Eben, who was smiling at the boys. ''They're amazing.'' My eyes went back to the boys and I watched them perform. Following their every move, but mostly Daniels. In the background I always saw Josephine. She was that person at a concert, that would scream during every silent second. The annoying kind of person. And she did that every single time. I could hear some of the fans telling her to shut up. The sides of the stage weren'' completely hidden, so fans standing left, could see the side of the right stage and vice versa.
Its been some time and after a mash-up and a short talk to the crowd, slower song started, which I remembered from earlier today. 'nobody gotta know.'
Zach stood there, singing. I had a big smile on my lips until Jonah started. His head spun to me and he started singing.
'I've been missin' I've been crushin' on you all night.'
He took a step closer to the left side of the stage, were Eben and I were watching them.
'I should take you to the moon it's a long flight.'
I gave him a soft smile. Not realizing why he looked at me.
'We should chill, me and you, if its alright, you should be my, you should be mine.'
He pointed at me and I could hear fans screaming. Either because of Jonahs action or because one of the other boys pointed at them. Jonah walked back to his original spot and I could see Josephine looking at me. Daniel slowly took the microphone closer to his mouth. Josephine quickly stroke her hair out of her face, ready to be sung to as well.
'See I've been trying to find the right way to say to you..'
His eyes were locked on the ground.
'That I would walk a million miles when I'm not with you.'
He started to lift up his head.
'and there is no one else that ever could compare to you.'
A quick glance which felt like hours. I saw into his deep blue eyes which pulled me closer to him. I felt like I was standing right next to him. Feeling his hot breath on my cheek. But there he was, just a few feet away, already looking back into the crowd.
After the song was over, the lights were turned back on and the boys started talking to the crowd. I moved a little more to the back of the stage to see the fans. I could see crying faces, jumping bodys and many sings. Including one saying;
''Y/n, say hi to the limelights.''
Corbyn started laughing at the sign and looked to me. ''Well?''
I chuckled and leaned a little towards the stage so that they should see my head. I gave them a quick wave and hid behind the wall again. The screams echoed trough the room and I could see the boys all looking at me. We started laughing but as soon as the fans calmed down, they continued with the tracklist. ''Jossie doesn't seem too happy.'' I looked across the stage and saw the girl with a look that could kill.
