JUNGKOOK

"Hello honey!" it was his mom. The clock was eight and he just got home. He left Hoseok's house early because he didn't want to worry them or his brother too much.

"Hey mom, dad..." Jungkook smiled while taking off his shoes. They were preparing food.

"How was late-evening class?" she asked.

"Oh... it was good. I didn't want to stay for too long, I was a bit tired." he explained.

He walked into the kitchen. The food smelled great, and if it wasn't because he had already eaten he probably wouldn't have been able to stop himself from tasting it.

"Your brother told us that you've met a friend. Did you see him there?" his dad asked while preparing the chicken.

"Yes... yes I did. We studied, joked around a bit." he answered, taking a small pause to figure out what to say. "And um... he asked me if I wanted to sleep at his house on Saturday. So we could hang out a bit, I hope that's okay?"

His mom gave him a warm smile. "Of course it okay honey! You two have fun. I would love for him to come over some time too."

That reminded Jungkook that Jimin had actually already been at his house. The memory made him feel a bit flustered, he tried to shake the feeling off and just said as casually as he could:

"Yes I'm sure he want that too. But he's a bit shy so... it might take some time." Jungkook said and scratched his neck.

"He can take all time he needs." his father said. "Just let him know that he's more than welcome!"

"Yes of course!" Jungkook smiled before turning around to get upstairs to his room. He really needed to get some work done.

It was English. God Jungkook really hated it, because it was one of the few subjects he thought was difficult. The language was just so different from what he was used to. Sure he was better than most of the people in his class. But still, he kind of just learned a lot of grammatical rules and different words, but didn't really get to actually speak it. Because what was the point of having good grades in English if you couldn't even use it? Than that grade didn't really meant anything. Two knocks on his door dragged him out of his thoughts. He looked up, the door opened and he saw his brother sticking his head out.

"You're home already?" he asked.

"Yes. I was a bit tired from school and all. So I got home and studied here instead..." Jungkook explained.

"Oh I see. Mom wanted to tell you the food is ready."

"Oh it's okay I already ate." It slipped out of his mouth before he even could think.

"You already ate?" Jin asked. "When?"

For a few seconds Jungkook felt his insides panicking, while still trying seem calm on the outside.

"Uhm I bought something quick on the way home. I forgot to bring something to school since I wasn't home last night so I was really hungry you know..." Good save Jungkook.

"Ah okay. Then we'll eat without you tonight." Jin smiled. "You study well then."

"Yeah sure. Thanks hyung."

Jin left and Jungkook let out his breath. He really needed to watch his mouth in the future. Who knows what might slip otherwise?

JIMIN

Friday finally.  It was their last period before lunch. Jimin was playing with his phone and texting Taehyung. Mostly about how their teacher's hair looked like a fucking bird-nest today. Shortly after sending it, he caught Taehyung giggling in front of him. The bell rang and Jimin basically flew up from his chair. Finally.

Hoseok had texted them during class too meet them in the cafeteria since their teacher let them go earlier. So instead of stopping by their classroom as they usually did Jimin and Taehyung went directly to the cafeteria. The place was less crowded than he was used to since they came earlier. After collecting their food they sat down with their friends. Yoongi was currently laughing hysterically at something Hoseok had said, it was an unusual sight. He was always so reserved, sure he smiled and laughed but never like this.

"What so funny that you can't even breathe?" Jimin asked and sat down.

"Oh..." Yoongi turned his head up looking like he haven't realized until now that they were there. "Nothing. Hoseok were just being a dork as usual..." he waved it off.

"Nooo whaat? I wanna knoow!" Taehyung whined pouting a bit. Hoseok just laughed.

"You two wouldn't get it. It's an inside joke!" Hoseok smiled brightly.

Both Jimin and Taehyung knew that the both of them was closer with each other than with them. Just as they were closer with each other as well.

"You meanie!" Taehyung said and took a bite of his food.

"Stop sounding like a five-year-old, it's not cute." Jimin said, making Taehyung's head shoot up. He looked up at him with big eyes and pouting. Putting on the best aegyo he had.

"Why so meanie Jiminie...?" he said.

"Uugh..." Jimin couldn't stand the look on his face. "Okay okay Tae, you're very cute!"

His whole face lit up and put on his huge boxy smile.

"I know right?" he said. His face then changed and looked like he just came to think of something. "Speaking of which..."

Jimin turned his head to look up at him, still chewing on his food.

"Hm?" Jimin said.

"Are you sure you want to bring Jungkookie to the party? I mean, it's not really his natural habitat..."

"He'll be fine!" Jimin said after swallowing. "I'll take care of him, so you guys don't need to worry..."

Hoseok laughed at that.

"Oh really?" he said. "So you're not getting dead drunk on Saturday? You won't be able to take care of him in that state. Unless you're meant something else with that..." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"I actually have some sense of self-control youknow. I know my limit it's just... I usually choose to cross it."

"Crossing it? More like running over the finish line so fastyou won't even notice so you just keep on going!" Hoseok laughed.

"Anywaaay..." Jimin said glaring a bit at him. "To answer your question, no I'm not gonna get 'dead-drunk'. It's Kookie's first party, he needs someone to lean on."

"Awwwe!" Taehyung exclaimed. "Look at you! Being all sweet and caring over Jungkookie!"

"Watch you fucking mouth Kim Taehyung!" Jimin said digging his eyes into him. Taehyung did shut up but didn't wash of that little grin off his face.

"By the way..." Taehyung said after a while. "Aren't you afraid Jinnie might show up? It is a third-years-only party after all."

At that Jimin laughed loudly.

"The Princess?" he said still giggling. "He has never showed up at any of our parties. He's too good for that, too good for us!"

It was true. Seokjin was the only person in their whole grade that hasn't been to any of their parties. Jimin knew that Taehyung was aware of that. But the reason for him asking wasn't really because he was worried for Jungkook.
