Chapter 1

Alexis's POV

"Hey Guys"I say to my friends as I walk into my first day as a freshmen. Yea im only 14. "Hey bish"Delia smiles. "Hey girly" Samantha says. "let me see what classes we have together"I say. I look at their things. "OK Sam we have 2nd and lunch and Delia we have 2nd 3rd and lunch"I smile. they nod and we start heading to find our classes. I started walking and bumped into someone. "Hey watch where your going"a guys says harshly. I look up to see him glaring at me. "sorry"I mumble. "you better be" he glares and I walk off.  I walk around and I finally found the classroom I walk in there to see not many people were in there. so I decided to sit in the back of the room. after I sit down I just look at my feet. suddenly I see someone else's feet right in front of me. "Your In my seat" I hear a familiar voice say. "I don't see your name on it"I mumble. God what has gotten into me I would usually never say something like that to someone. "What did you just say?" he growls. "I said I don't see your name on it"I say getting annoyed. "Get out of my seat"he growls. "Nah I'M good"I laugh. then I see  what I'M guessing are  his friends walk in. Some of them looked so nice. Suddenly someone sits next to me I look over to see a boy wearing a hat. "Hi im Brent"he smiles. "Hey I'm Alexis"I smile back. For the rest of the hour I was talking to Brent with that one guy glaring at me and talking to his friends. When me and Brent walked out of the room I looked at Brent. "Let me see your schedule" I smile. he hands it to me and I smile more. "We have all the same classes except for right after lunch"I say. "nice"he smiles. I nod and we walk to 2nd period. we walk in and I see the girls.  so I grab his hand and drag him over there. "Hey guys"I smile. "Who is this" Sam asks. "Guys this is brent, Brent this is Delia and Samantha"I smile. "Dude I love your hair it's amazing " Delia says to Brent. "Giirrll I know mhmmmm" he says and we all laugh. Then we all sit down and start talking. Afterwards we head to 3rd. Then to fourth and last but not least lunch. When we walk in there I look at Brent Sam and Delia. "Where you wanna sit?"I ask. "Follow me I know where" Brent smiles. Then he walks  to a table in the back of the cafateria and sits down. After we sit someone sits next to me and it's not one of them. I Look up to see that guy that I sat in his seat and ran into him. "well hello there"he smirks. "What do you want Aaron"Brent groans. "I just wanted to sit with my friends." He says. "Were not your friends"Brent says. "Yea but they are" he says as all of his friends sit down. Suddenly someone sits on the other side of me. I look over there to see one of his friends. "Im sorry about him I'm Shawn"he smiles holding out his hand. "I'm Alexis"I smile back and shake his hand. I looked around their group to see there were two girls in the group. Then I look back at Shawn and me him Brent and the girls start talking. The whole time Aaron wouldn't stop poking me. After lunch I head to Choir. I walk in to see Shawn. I smile and start walking over there then I see Aaron.I stop and sit across the room. After choir I went to my last class. I walk in and sit down. "Ok I know this is the first day but we are gonna have an art project I'M picking the partners"the teacher says. "OK miss Arnold with Mister carpenter " Fuck my life. After school I went to Aaron's house to work on our project. "OK let's get started " he says and we start.  after a while I hear a woman voice. "AARON DINNERS READY AND TELL YOUR FRIEND SHE CAN STAY FOR DINNER"his mom yells. Then we walk downstairs. "Hey hun"his mom smiles. Then we sit down and start eating. "So How you liking high school"his mom asks. "It's not bad"I smile. suddenly I feel a hand on my thigh and I tense up. "You ok hun"she asks. I nod and put my plate in the sink. "well im gonna head home"I say and grab my stuff. "I'll walk you" Aaron smiles. "Nah Im ok"I say. "No im coming" he says. We walk out of the house and im shaking a little. If you didn't know I have a sister and an abusive father. When we get there I say a quick bye and run inside. "YOU STUPID BITCH WHERE WERE YOU WHILE  I WAS  SITTING HERE STARVING YOU LITTLE SLUT YOU WERE PROBABLY FUCKING SOME RANDOM GUY" my dad screams and throws his beer bottle at me. "I wa-as wo-orking on a pro-oject"I stutter. "Whatever you little bitch" he spats and slaps me. Then he starts beating me. After a while he stops and I go to my room. I walk into my bathroom and grab my blade. I slide it across my wrist 5 times. then I lay down and go to sleep. I wake up and get ready for school. but I didn't know I forgot something until i was already at school. it was supposed to cover my cuts. I forgot my hoodie
