A/N Sorry for not updating i haven't been on here for some time. i will try to continue for the kind readers who have continue to support me. Atem and Mahad have a heart to heart.
Three days have passed since Atem and Mahad were turned by Dartz and in those three days chaos had insued at the kajiki residents. As a thank you for their hospitality the boys had tried helping with the chores As well as give Ryota a hand with fishing which had ended in failer. (the fishing part because Mahad fear being noticed by other mer and chores because Atam was clumsy).
One night before dinner the boys were sitting at the beach with Noble not far from the house.
"This is not how imagined our adventure on the surface world would be like" said a Atem.
" True but it's an amazing one just the same. I never thought I'd see the day you'd be doing chores, normally you'd pull a disappearing act replied Mahad with a note of amusement through his mind link.
"Well they are giving us board and food and as the next pharaoh i can't go around disgracing my family and people can i"said Atem facing away from Mahad.
It's that human girl fault thought Atem thinking back on the messes he'd ended making when he had been cleaning and trying to help f/n cook, everytime they'd be close or had sensed her eyes on him had made him nervous and so ended up looking like a fool. Atem felt the heat of a blush coming just by thinking about it.
" Remember when it was your turn to feed and clean the reins for the sea horses but we ended up taking them on a ride and like most of our challenges ended in a draw" said Mahad.
Atem takes a breathe in relief happy for the discraction. He always did understand me without me saying anything.
"Yeah and Yugi being the merciful soul that he is decided not to tell on us and did the chores" said Atem missing his family.
" I really am sorry Atem i never wished for you to become a part of this"
" Hey enough of that, I'm sticking to what i said before we've been best friends since forever and have taken life's challenges head on and come out unscathed and it's the same here said Atem giving Mahad a hand up.
" Besides can't wait to see the old man's face when he see we came back from land safe said Atem with that mischievous twinkle flaring back in his amber eyes, making Mahad laugh.
