Obsession"You know that was a huge dick move, right?" Isaac laughs hard as we walk to class.
I had explained to him what had happened a couple days ago. I couldn't exactly tell him any other time, knowing Dally was around with Hunter, her step-brother.
Talking about Jackie in front of Hunter is probably the biggest mistake I would ever do. Not that I would do that, unless I'd wanna get killed.
Hunter and I aren't exactly the closest friends. He talks to Dallas when he comes to sit with us, but other than that, he doesn't even notice my presence. So basically, I don't think he knows I exist.
"I know it was, but I mean she does know my name.. That's good, isn't it?" I reluctantly say, scratching the back of my head.
"She knows your damn name, but now she probably thinks you're an arrogant freak!"
As we arrive to class, we take our usual seats, Isaac sitting right behind me.
I turn around to look at him properly as we continue our discussion.
"Next time, he starts, when you see her, you're going to apologize about your bad behavior and have a nice conversation."
"Are you crazy?!" I whisper yell, as if someone would hear us. "I'll probably do that when we're eighty years old."
"You're such a goddamn pussy." He huffs out, rolling his eyes at me.
"Look, I don't have the balls to actually talk to her. I'll probably end up being more obsessed than I already am!" I hit my head on the desk, getting the urge to cry.
I am a goddamn pussy.
"You don't even have balls, dick face." Isaac smacks the side of my head.
I lift my head quickly to answer back to his comment.
"Yes I do. Apparently they're on my face."
And as I said that, him and I both burst out laughing, right before the bell had rang, indicating that class has sadly started.

The rest of the day passed by pretty quickly. Once again, like all the other days, I avoided walking past Jackie. I couldn't risk her seeing me or her catching me staring.
I sat here in last period, planning every thing I would do after school, right when that damn bell would ring.
I will leave school in hurry and go outside, stay in my mom's car - that I borrowed today - at the parking lot, waiting for Jackie to say goodbye to Summer, whom I assume is her best friend. After that, Summer will get into her car, and probably go to her house.
Jackie though, she will walk. Where she will walk, I truly don't know. But thankfully, I will finally find out.
These few days, I would always see her walking to the same direction. I assumed it was probably back home, but yesterday I had seen her walk by my house, still with her school bag and the same clothes.
Finally, as I finished finalizing my plan, the bell rang and, before I knew it, I pushed everyone out of the way so I could leave this classroom.
I elbowed so many people in the crowded hallway just so I could get to my locker, take my things and head to the parking lot ; without getting caught by anyone I know.
I quickly sat in my car - my mom's car - and hid my head so that no one would see me.
From far, I was able to see both of them laughing as they hugged each other tightly as they bid goodbye.
I don't really get why girls hug the life out of each other when they see each other after literally an hour.
After five more minutes, Summer had finally left the parking lot in her car. With that done, it was part two of my plan. I started my car, slowly driving behind Jackie as she walked. I was glad there was a short amount of traffic after school. Because if there was actually no car and I was driving slowly behind her, then that would literally not be the slightest bit slick.
As I drove, I payed attention to every street I would pass. I have to know what she does after school. It's like a secret mission I'm on to figuring out where she's going.
It felt like I had been driving for over an hour, but it all lasted for over a fifteen minute drive when she stopped in front of Sonic Boom.
I didn't really get why she stopped at a CD shop, though. Does she stay here after school everyday just listening to music all along?
I get out of my car, making my way inside, trying hard not to get her attention.
She is definitely going to know something is fishy if she sees me here - right after she had just arrived.
And so, I walk in between the isles, trying to find some help. Thankfully, someone other than Jackie saw me first.
"Hi, sir. Can I help you?" A girl about three years older than me asks me.
I mean maybe she's actually twenty years older. Makeup changes your age, doesn't it?
"Uhm yes.. Do you know a certain Jackie?" I ask uncertain.
"Oh! You're talking about Jaclyn. Yes, she's my co-worker. Do you want to see her?" She starts to walk off but I quickly tell her not to.
"Oh no!" I say quickly, then cough awkwardly. "It's alright. Just wanted to be sure if it was this shop she worked at."
"What's your name? So I can tell her you came by."
"My name? Oh. My name is... Isaac."
Just like that, I turn around and leave, taking long steps to get back to my car - mom's car.
So she works at a CD shop everyday after school.
Interesting. . .
