(Hiccup's pov)

Me, Mel, and my dads were on valcory island going from trader to trader to find things for the wedding. My birth dad insisted on paying for everything. Mel told him "we aren't interested in money covered in dragon blood" and turned away from him.

"I didn't keep any hunting money young lady it's money that I got from other work I did I wasn't just a dragon hunter I did alot of trading of drawing I did of people and dragons that I met and liked and I made wanted posters for chiefs so I am more then I see" dad shot back at her

"Ok no fighting u 2 ur making the dragons on edge and me to seriously I love you both so no fighting got it now dad thank you but I told you stoick is my dad to so ur both helping pay" I said calmly

We bought some china and my tux witch i always made sure Mel got to speak her mind about everything. When we were heading to get flowers Mel stopped and looked away from us and looked at a woman with the same tattoo as her. Her tattoo was a turtle swimming with girl by some rainbow coral with Pearl wrote above And Mel's had pink coral and her name above it. This woman was selling wedding dresses, veils, tiaras, and make up. My dad's thought that is what she was looking at so the room is over there "Hello ma'am these 2 are getting married and this girl here was looking at the stuff ur selling" my chief dad spoke

The girl looked at Mel and smiled. "I can tell from the look on ur face that's not it Melody May Waters u saw me and knew who I was and as for ur wedding I have the dress and Vail for u as for make up I never liked that or tiara because you never wanted to set still and look pretty" the woman responded

"For not being in my life long you still know me so well mom besides Hiccup and Lilly your the only one that knows I want a sample wedding but no one...." Mel started

"Wants to listen to the bride trust me i know but that's not happening with u there's no way you would let that happen u always lived one thing your never going sit still and look pretty" pearl laughed

(Melody's pov)

"Let's see that dress i bet Mel is excited to see it" Stoick spoke

Hiccup glared at his dad and spoke calmly "Let's leave them and buy some stuff we need not for the wedding but i have to get dragon feed, some metal, gems, rocks for meatlug, Mel's sword back, chicken feed, and some parts for something I'm building"

"Wait who stole Melody's sword" Viggo spoke

"Some stupid weapon sells men his over there" I pointed out the man had a short beard,was skinny but with muscle, with black long hair, with silver armor on, brown shoes, and a scar on his cheek.

Hiccup looked at me and could tell i hated him more than anything "that Chip your ex-boyfriend isn't it" Hiccup sighed/ asked

"Yeah his worthless he can't fight, his scared of dragons, his a mommy's boy, never showers, the weapons he sells are junk, he steals, has a squeaky laugh, an itchy beard, he wanted me to just look pretty and clean, he drools, and his rude" I answered

"I see i'll handle him you try on ur dress and i'll be back with ur sword ok" Hiccup smiled.

I rolled my eyes no way was Hiccup fighting him and winning i thought "Hiccup is stronger then he looks Melody and I'll be with and Echo will be with you and besides Melody he can't be that strong I mean look at him" Toothless said

"Is something wrong Melody is there something i should know?" Hiccup asked

"Just be careful his a chief's son just like you and his dad's never to far and if his dad even hears him he'll come running and he'll be ready to fight for his son I don't want you getting hurt ok" I answered 

"Don't worry your beautiful mind about me I know how to fight and I have Toothless with me I promise I'll come back to you in one piece" he told me with a smile and rubbed my face sweetly.

My mom grabbed my hand and took me into the tent as Hiccup walked over to my ex-boyfriend to get my sword. Hiccup knew what Toothless said because that's his dragon but I know what he said because I can turn into one.
