•Jc's POV•

~"Do something romantic.."~

Sam's words kept ringing in my head. Something romantic. What's romantic?

Dinner by candle light? Flowers are romantic, right? That's it!

"I'll set up candles and a table in the empty shed and, well, order pizza.."

What? I'm not the greatest cook, okay? Especially not for a first date.

"And then I'll ask her by bringing a big bouquet of flowers!" I say to myself. Okay, this is good.

I stand up off my bead and head downstairs. Sam and Trevor are watching TV and Connor is eating..again.

"Guys, do we have any candles?" I ask.

"Yes!" Trevor says. "In the second cabinet from the left on the top shelf in the kitchen."

"Cool." I smile. I quickly find the candles before grabbing the coffee table and leaving the joys without any questions from the guys.

I make my way to the shed and set up the table and candles all around it. I set a couple in the center of it. Then I call Papa John's and order pre-order the pizza. I hang up the phone and head back to the house.

"Hey guys, I'm heading out."

"Bye." Sam says.

"C'yah" Trevor follows.

"This ice cream is my favorite." I look up to see Connor stuffing his face with ice cream.

"Oooookay..well I'm not gonna interrupt....that." I say making Sam chuckle. "Bye guys." I say, more directed to the other two in the room. I open the door and exit the house. First stop: the flower shop.

Once I arrive, I open the door and usher myself in.

"Hello!" A girl a couple years older than me smiles from behind the counter. She has bright red loosely curly hair and piercing blue-green eyes."I'm Kelly. What can I help you with?"

"Hey, uh, what flowers should I get to ask a girl on a first date?"

"Does she like you?"

"No." She looks at me questionably. "Well, I mean, not that I can tell. She said I was cute but that's all I've got."

"Well then you need something extravagant!" She jumps off her seat and grabs a pen and note pad. "How about a ton of different flowers put together? We could have roses, daisies, tulips, carnations, anything!"

"That sounds perfect!"

"Great," she smiles. "Coming right up." Kelly disappears into the back room. It only takes her about five minutes to complete the bouquet before she re-enters the main room. "Here we are!" She says holding out the flowers in my direction. "What do you think?"

"Wow." I say. It's was huge..and colorful, and just plain beautiful.

"Wow is right." she smiles. "It's got practically every kind of flower we have in stock!"

"Thank you Kelly!" I wrap her in a little hug. "Thank you thank you thank you!"

"Of course!" She says as we release each other. "Now I expect to see you again, k? Don't forget about me!"

"You bet." I laugh. "Bye Jelly!"

"Jelly?"

"I'm calling you Jelly, 'cause it rhymes with Kelly." I smile. She squeals.

"I love it!" We wave to each other one last time before I exit and make my way to my car.
