Pidge found Shiro's rants to be more or less a time to check for a new letter. She began tracking Keith every so often to see if he was okay.

The blade moved him around more than she realized. The rest of the team had learned very quickly to leave her alone after fights. She took the time to read over old letters.

Day two,

Still miss me huh? Go and train for a little. It normally helps me to clear my head. It might help you.

She tried, it didn't work. But at least she was up to Keith's level now.

Day three,

Did it work?! If it didn't well I'm not sure what to say. If it did I'll be surprised.

Day four,

Well if you still miss me by then Matt may be around. As much as I hate to admit we have some good story's to tell from a time before Kerberos.

She re-read day five. She skipped over a a small detail in the letter. It had been ten days Since she plugged it in.

Dear Pidge,

Is Keith, you've been getting worse. I hope you can start eating soon. Please, get better I'm worried.

She felt her face heat up. She over looked it. She didn't see the last part. Did he mean it? Was it a mistake? Oh god, oh god, was it a joke?
WHY AM I THINKING THIS THROUGH?!

Keith's POV

I looked down. She's plugged it in for ten days. Kolivan was dragging out a rant for a new mission. I checked to see what letters she had seen. It looks like she's panicked on one. Wait? Panicked? I pulled up the letter. 'I MEANT TO CHANGE THAT.' I bolted up from my bed. I better hope to fix this, leave before kolivan notices, which I failed.

"Where are you going?"

"I-I just need to get my knife." 'Quiznak it's in my hands stupid stupid STUPID EXCUSE. Shiro thought I could lead? I can't even lie to protect myself.... or Pidge....'

Kolivan stopped the debrief, taking me outside. Was he going to send me away for good? What about the team? I could be more help here.

"Your not sure if your place aren't you?"

I wasn't expecting that.

"I don't know. But there's someone back at the castle of lions-" kolivan held up his hand.

"You serve a better use with the paladins, I'll call upon you when I need you keith." Kolivan left me there. I instantly bolted to my room once gathering my wits. "Why the hell did I question it before?!?" I bolted to our recovered fighter taking off. Don't worry Pidge. I'm coming. I'm coming to fix this.
