*Harry's POV

The first thing Madam Pomfrey did when she saw I was awake was making sure I ate my chocolate. I guessed it may have something to do with Hermione's still being on my bedside table, half eaten...

After the end of classes some people came by when they heard I was awake. Madam Pomfrey wasn't letting everyone come in since there was quite the crowd gathered outside after the news that Hermione and I ha been attacked by Dementors. Among the ones that made it in were Neville, Luna, Seamus, Dean, the Patil twins and George.

Everyone had already gone down to have dinner when Ron came bursting through the doors of the infirmary, ignoring Pomfrey's shouts for silence and that he couldn't just run into the hospital without warning. He came near my bed - I'm sorry I didn't come earlier, the first time I did you were still asleep and this evening Slughorn was lecturing me for almost an hour after class ended. I think it had something to do with almost blowing up the whole classroom. I guess I wasn't paying the attention I should have but I couldn't focus on anything after I heard you were awake.

- Calm down Ron! You're here now. - his expression lightened a bit after I said that. - But Slughorn is right, I know you were eager to see me but getting put in here yourself is probably not the best way.

The three of us laughed a bit. I then asked - Have you seen Ginny, she didn't come yet and all the other did. Is she alright?

Ron's expression turned from relaxed to worried as he wondered what to tell me. Hermione glared angrily at me - Hey! What did I do? I'm just worried about my friend. Nothing more. - I put special emphasis on that word.

She opened her mouth to speak but Ron cut her off before either of us said anything we would later regret - She may have forgiven you for breaking up with her. But she hasn't talked kindly about Hermione either. She thinks you broke up with her because of Hermione.

- I already told her I didn't look at Hermione that way back then and, by the way, she broke up with me. She was the one who threw a hair brush at me in the first place.

Hermione was still not pleased for my worries about another girl, more precisely my ex girlfriend. So, I grabbed her hand, pulled her closer to me and gave her a small kiss. She kissed back but then pulled away and asked - Are you trying to bribe me Harry Potter?

- No! I'm showing you how much I care for you...

Her expression lightened at those words and I saw Ron leave, muttering something that sounded an awful lot like ''Gross''.

- I still want to talk to her about some things, mainly about how she treats you. I don't want you getting into trouble because of me.

- What you think I can't take care of myself?!

- Quite the opposite. I think if she tries anything on you she'll be the one regretting but you can get detention and lose points.

...

Both of us gladly left the hospital wing the next morning and headed for the common room to get changed and grab our books. Both of us rushed a bit at breakfast since we were almost late for our first class.

The day went very well, there was nothing out of the ordinary, which was nice, for a change. The real trouble started when we got down to have dinner. I forced myself to talk to Ginny, overcoming the reproving looks on Hermione's face and my own lack of interest in having such a conversation with my ex.

As soon as I got near her she turned around and if we weren't in the Great Hall she probably would have started yelling straight away.

- So... Harry James Potter don't you have something to say?!
