Chapter 1

Jocob's POV

I was walking through the woods because it was my turn patrolling the border. There was nothing wrong so I decided to go for a run and see if I can hunt some animals.

I found some mountain lions, a bear and some rabbits. After I was satisfied I ran home to get changed since my clothes ripped from the shifting.

I looked for Sam and the pack and decided to look for them at Emily's house.

When I arrived I saw them all huddled together over the table, stuffing their faces with Emily's muffins.

I walked up to the table, got myself a muffin and walked over to Emily, smiling at her and giving her a one sided hug as a thank you.

"Sam! I finished patrolling the border. I'll head home now. I'm sure Dad is already waiting for me." I said and he nodded, dismissing me.

I waved Emily goodbye and walked out, deciding to jog to our house. When I arrived I walked in and saw Dad sitting in the living room so I walked up to him and hugged him tightly, causing him to laugh.

"What's wrong, son?" He asked softly. I just laid down on the couch, laying my head in his lap and hummed happily as he started to run his fingers through my hair.

"Dad?" I asked softly, frowning.

"What is bothering you, Jake?" He asked, looking down at me.

"Do you think I'll ever find my Imprint? The one destined to be with me. To love me and be there for me... It just seems so hopeless..." I said sadly, feeling the tears welling up in my eyes.

"It hurts really bad, being in love with Bella and knowing she won't ever return our feelings. No! Instead she's getting married to that leech!" Jason my inner wolf growled. 

You heard right... She is getting married to this leech, Edward, and she invited me to it. I don't know if I should go. It breaks my heart to know she loves someone that isn't me as selfish as it sounds but it's true.

"Jake? Jacob!" I heard someone say and snapping their fingers in front of my face. I shook my head and looked up at Dad who looked at me with a worried expression.

"I'm fine, Dad. It's... Nothing." I waved him off dismissingly but of course he didn't believe me.

"It's about Bella's wedding, right?" He asked softly and I nodded slowly, breaking down in tears.

He hugged me close and wiped away my tears.

"Hey, hey... Don't cry over her. She's not worth your tears. You will your imprint... I'm sure of that." He said softly.

I nodded my head, wiping away the rest of my tears and stood up slowly.

"I'm going to my room just call for me if you need anything, all right?" I said and he nodded, smiling at me.

I smiled back and walked away, sitting om my bed once I arrived in my bedroom.

I took out my notepad and began to write what my heart told me.

"Love. The one word that can change your life completely. Some might think it's irrational to even think about it since they have never experienced it. Some might warn uou to keep you away from it since they went through heartbreak. But then there are some who tell you it's the best thing they have ever experienced. They say that there is a person that is destined to be with you. The other half to your soul, your soulmate. The one person who is supposed to change your life for the better or worse-" I was cut off by Dad calling for me so I stood up and walked into the living room again.

"Could you help me, please?" He asked softly and I nodded my head gently, sitting him in his wheelchair.

"Can you grab that she book for me please?" He asked, pointing at the book on top of the shelf. I walked over to it and got it before handing it to him.

"Thank you." He said and I smiled at him, hugging him.

"Of course, Pa... Hey. I'm going to bed it's pretty late." I said and he nodded at me, looking after me as I walked out of the room and into mine.

I threw myself on my bed and fell into dreamless sleep.

Billy's POV

I watched sadly as my son walked away sadly. I really like Bella but she broke my son's heart. I know it isn't her fault that she doesn't return his feelings but I don't like seeing him hurt.

I grabbed the book that Jake gave me and flipped through the pages. I finally found what I was looking for and began to pray.

"Goddess of the moon hear my prayer. Please give my son a mate who will love him and be there for him as he will do the same. In his darkest hours he needs someone to rely on as he has been through heartbreak. Please, Goddess of the moon hear my please!" I said, looking at the full moon.

I really hope she will hear my prayer. He deserves a person who loves him.

Jocob's POV (next day)

So here I am, getting dressed for Bella's wedding. Ugh! I really can't believe I'm doing this but I have to. So I wrote a note to Dad.

Dear Dad,

I'm writing this note to you because this will probably be the last time you hear of me. I will go my own way. I'm sorry but I can't sit here and do nothing, watching as the woman I love is happy with someone else.

I love you, Dad

I laid the note on the kitchen table and walked out if the house, heading for the Cullen' house. I walked out of the woods and stepped closer as Bella came running to me, looking as beautiful as ever in her wedding dress.

"Jacob!" She breathed out, tackling me into a hug. I, of course hugged back, taking in her sweet scent.

"Hey..." I whispered softly, hugging her tight. She pulled away, beaming at me.

"You really came!" She exclaimed happily and I just nodded at her, forcing a smile.

I held my hand out to her, grinning.

"May I have this dance?" I asked softly and she nodded, laying her head on my shoulder as I wrapped my arms around her.

We swayed from left to right just catching up till the leech showed up. I let go of her and stepped away.

"Go to the guests they are waiting for the bride." He said, smiling at her. She nodded and hugged me again before dissapearing. He then turned to me.

"Thank you, Jacob. For keeping her alive... But there is no need for it anymore. I am! She didn't want me to tell you but I decided to break the rules." He said, smiling at me. I growled lowly and pushed him away, turning around and running away, shifting in mid run.

That was it! My go to live my own life!
