Chapter 3 (redone)

I woke with a smile on my face, i kissed Gabe! well i guess Gabe kissed me but still! i rolled out of my bed and jumped into the shower, blew dried my hair, and curled it. I ran back into my room trying to find something cute to wear, settling on a grey and black cotton dress and a pair of black wedges. i applied some makeup making me look super hot, for me anyways.

I left my house and started to head towards the high school, when a sleek car pulled up next to me. i looked and saw Gabe rolled down his window. "hey, want a ride?" he said smiling big.

"sure" i said winking and sliding into the passenger side.

"why didn’t you ride with Adam?" Gabe asked probably still thinking adam and i were dating.

"adam and i aren’t dating you know, he is just a good friend, no feelings beside friendship," i stated

Gabe snorted "i don’t think that’s mutual, did you see his look when i kissed you?"

"he’s like a bigger brother, I’m sure that’s why." i said, i hope that’s why.

"well okay than." he said smiling at me while pulling into the school parking lot. he parked and turned to me, "i know you will keep my secret right?" i nodded "good, I’m putting you in danger just having you know, but i like you, your strong willed, and cute." he said kissing me on my cheek. i smiled a goofy smile, and got out threw my bag over my shoulder and started to walk towards the school when Gabe came up and grabbed my hand, "you working tonight?"

"till 6 but than i have to go out with Brandon." i said wrinkling up my nose. "come and hang out with me at work!"

"well okay, and try not to fall for brandon." he laughed, "i don’t want to have to share you" he pushed me up against my locker and kissed me on my lips sending my body into shock. i quickly kissed back and our lips started to move in sync. we broke and breathed heavy.

"trust me, i highly think that will be a problem." i quickly pecked his lips and walked towards my first period class.

"so you and Gabe a thing?" Adam asked as i enter English.

"no, are you in my class?" i asked smiling.

"so what your saying you totally just sucked the face of him, and you aren’t even dating?" he asked confused

"stay in your own business." i said sitting in the back away from Adam. the class went really slow along with my second period it wasn’t till 3rd that time went fast, i walked into science and got up on my lab table, Gabe enter quickly and sat next to me Kelsey also came in and sat on the other side of me.

"today class we will do a simple experiment with magnesium, please put on your glasses and start your burner." the teacher stated and than carried on blah blah blah oh well ill just wing it.

“hey” I said to Gabe inching closer.

“hey.” he said winking “how’s school been?”

“good you?” I said smiling.

“fine I think some people by the names of Brandon and Adam saw our kiss this morning.” he laughed.

“jeesh what is there problem,” I said shaking my head.

“you guys kissed?” Kelsey screeched as she looked away from her compact mirror in her hands.

I just smiled.

I turned back to Gabe. “they didn’t bother you to much did they?” I asked about Brandon and Adam.

“nothing I couldn’t handle.” he laughed.

“sorry.” I murrmed as we started our lab.

Lunch was finally here I grab a smart water and headed to my usual table. I spotted Gabe there and hurried to him.

“hey.” I said to him.

“hey!” he said pecking me on my cheek.

“so listen I was thinking are you going on a mission tonight?” I asked with excitement in my eyes.

“um yeah I was going to do some downtown scoping.” he said curious. “why?” he than saw the glint of excitement in my eyes, “No.” my lips pouted “No to dangerous.”

“the first time I saw you I was sleeping in a tree, above a murder.” I whispered in a hiss.

“yeah I was going to ask you about that… Why in the hell were you sleeping there?” he said protective.

“urm, I was…” I stuttered and looked around the lunch room to avoid the question. I found the eyes of Brandon walking up to us. “Hey Brandon.” I said ignoring the question.

“Hey Shea, I was wondering if we were still on for tonight.” he asked flicking his eyes to Gabe.

“um yeah of coarse, but I need to know that you know its not-” he cut me off before I could finish.

“date.” he said smiling. “yeah yeah I know don’t worry. I wont try things.” he said to both me and to Gabe.

I felt Gabe slip a arm around me, “awesome see you at 7?” I laughed softly and smiled.

“yup will I be picking you up at the café?” he asked staring at the arm around me.

I simply nodded.

He smiled at me and left.

“listen I will be there when he picks my girl at 7,” Gabe said into my ear.

“your girl?” I asked smiling goofy

“yeah you wanna be?” he asked “I mean you wanna be my girlfriend?”

I smiled happily, instead of saying yes I just kissed him. He gladly kissed me back. We were going heavily until I was out of breath. I pulled back sadly.

“ill take that as a yes.” he said smiling.

I simply giggled.

Gabe drove me to work after school got out, we pulled onto the parking lot when he looked at me

“you never did answer me today about sleeping in the park.” he said curious.

“well,” I said not wanting to tell him.

“please.” he said grabbing my hand.

“my parents use to take me there, I’ve always felt safe there, when my parents left me, I spent every night in there, it was the only place I felt right and at whole.” I said looking down, not ready to tell him about my parents. “anyways I should get to work. You still hanging out?”

“yup until 7.” he said pulling me into the café smirking.
