**Evie's POV**
I was awoken to the noise of Dom and Lofty banging around in the kitchen with Auntie Essie, Uncle Raf, Zosia, Ollie and the other kids and I got ready for my first day at work. My Dad is going to be so proud of me.
When I went downstairs there where stacks and stacks of pancakes for all of us laid out on table. It didn't surprise me that Mikey had already stuck into the pancakes before I had even arrived so I sat down and ate a few of the pancakes.
"Right! Evie! It's time for your first shift on Keller. We start before the other wards so say goodbye and then we will be on our way." Lofty says as I run to Uncle Raf and hug him tightly.
"I will see you at your break. You will do amazingly. You will do the Fletcher name proud." Raf says and kisses my head gently and sends me too Dom and Lofty.
"Right. We will see you all later." Dom says as I follow him and Lofty and we all run to Holby laughing and chuckling as we go.
When we arrived there we saw two people walk out of Holby and they pulled shocked faces to see us approach them.
"Evie?" A manly voice said my name.
"Huh? D-D-Dad?" I looked at him shocked as him and Jac stepped apart there fingers touching each others hands.
"Evie. Nice to see you again. I am guessing you are going to the creche with your siblings. Run along sweetie."Dad says.
"Not exactly. Dom has offered me a job up on Keller. I start today Dad." I say lively.
"What one of those book maids. Handing out books." Dad says jokingly.
"No. She is going to be our new F1 doctor. Then an F2. And then a Regristrar. Who knows? Maybe even one day CEO of the hospital." Dom says.
"We'd better be getting her in and getting her ready for her first day." Lofty says as he walks in.
"Can I talk to Dad and Jac please Dom?" I ask.
"Yes. Me and Lofty will wait for you in the lobby." Dom says and walks off.
"Dad? What's happened? You seem really blunt and disappointed in me." I say heartbroken.
"I am sorry Evie that I came across that way. I have been up all night." Dad says.
"Doing what?" I ask.
"Booking a holid- Oh god."
"A h-holiday? Why? You are buggering off to go on holiday? And we are staying at home without our father! What the hell Dad? What the hell? What if something happens? What if someone gets hurt? What then? Lets say Lilly gets hurt and all she wants is her Dad. And you are on the other side of the world. And seeing Jac won't satisfy her!" I say firmly.
"Fletch we need to go." Jac says as she glances down at her watch and walks towards the taxi that is waiting outside for them.
"You are going with her!" I say shocked.
"Evie, don't tell the others." Dad begs me.
"You basically screw over your kids to go on holiday with your ex. You are missing Mikey's 13th birthday. Missing my first day at work. For what!? To go on holiday! I might take up Dom and Lofty's idea of them becoming our godparents. Then we will have them two and auntie Essie and Uncle Raf who won't leave us to go on a holiday without warning us!" I shout in Dad's face leaving him with tears rolling down his cheeks and Dom and Lofty walk over to me.
"Come on Evie." Dom says and we walk up to Keller.
"How do you know about us wanting to become your godparents?" Lofty asks me.
"You told Jac and Dad when you both where drunk." I say.
"Oh. Explains a lot." Lofty says as we reach the doors of Keller.
"Evie. This is know up to you. What will you go by? Doctor Fletcher or Doctor Macconie." Dom says.
"Macconie? Why Macconie?" I ask curiously.
"Because off your mother. She was a Macconie. Best female Doctor to wipe her power and intelligence across Keller. When she died it affected us all. You could live up to your mother, Evie." Dom says smiling at me.
"Hmmm. Doctor Macconie would be amazing. But then I want to do the Fletcher name proud." I say.
"Well why don't you be called Doctor Fletcher-Macconie?" Lofty says and I smile.
"Doctor Fletcher-Macconie at your service." I say as we walk onto Keller and Dom took me on a tour off the ward as Lofty sat down with Sacha and started to work.
**Lofty's POV**
"She is a 9.5!" Sacha says to me as we start to go through the patients for the day.
"Huh? Who?" I ask confused.
"That new girl. Evie is it?"
"You do know who that is right?"
"No? Should I?"
"That's Fletch's daughter. Evie. Mine and Dom's F1. You address her as Doctor Fletcher-Macconie." I say as Dom and Evie walk over to us.
"Mum said the Keller's scrubs where always so soft on the skin. She wasn't wrong" Evie says smiling as Sacha wolf whistles at her and I elbow him in the ribs.
"Right. Okay Evie. Today you will be working with myself and Dom with this case" I say as I hand her and Dom the awfully too familiar blue folder.
"Hm. Well lets talk to the patient and see what her symptoms are and then we will see what scans we need to order." Evie says and smiles as we approach the patient.
"Hello Miss Wolfe. I am Nurse Copeland, this is Doctor Copeland and this is Doctor Fletcher-Macconie and we will be working on your case today." I say.
"Er. Lofty, this is Bernie." Evie says looking up at me and Dom sighs.
"I will get Serena." Dom says.
"No you bloody won't Dominic." Bernie says, "Serena will not now anything."
"Okay, Au- Serena will not find out." Evie says as she turns bright red.
"Aunt? Who are you?" Bernie says confused.
"Sorry. I am Evie, Fletch's eldest daughter. Serena and Dad got rather close when you where gone. As friends. So did me and Mikey with Serena and that's what we tend to do. If there is someone we get close to we will call them Aunt or Uncle. That reminds me off something Uncle Raf did when you where gone" Evie chuckles as Raf approaches us as he heard his voice.
"Evie, don't you dare." Raf says.
"Well Bernie. Serena was confused with her sexuality and confined in Uncle Raf, and they almost kissed." Evie says and Raf rolls his eyes and walks off.
"What?!" Bernie says before laughing and as she laughs she starts to cough ferociously.
"Okay Bernie. Settle down." Evie says as she takes my stethoscope from my neck and places it on her heart as Bernie's coughing slows down, "Okay, Doctor Copeland order an X-ray, CT scan and a CAT scan please." She says as Dom does as she asks.
"Evie, a word please." I say and I bring her to the nurse's station, "What do you think is wrong?"
"Her heart rate rises dramatically when she coughs so could be congestive heart failure or even PE." Evie says.
