Maura's POV.
I paced back and forth in my office trying to figure out the chemical equation that had come from an unknown substance Susie found. It was driving me insane. I looked at the picture of Jane on my desk. She was in her military uniform. I miss her. We got married about 2 years ago and she has been in Afghanistan for the past year. This is probably why I am so distracted. I'm ready for her to get home. I plopped down on my couch and rubbed my temples. "Dr. Isles are you ok?" Det. Frost asked from my door. "Yes I'm fine."
"Hey can you come up to the lobby. They need your signature for a package."
"Sure." I walked up to the lobby with Frost and went to the front desk. "So were is the package?" I asked as I singed the papers. "It's being brought in right...now." I turned around. "Jane." there she stood. In her uniform and her hair pulled up in a bun. I ran to her and jumped into her arms. "Oh Maura, I've missed you so much." I started to cry into her neck as I hugged her. "Jane...." I pulled away and kissed her. "Jane....h-how did you get here?"
"I retired from the army. So I could be with you."
"Did you really?"
"Yeah. You are more important." I hugged her tighter and kissed her again. Angela came over and hugged her daughter. "Hey ma."
"Jane I've missed you."
"I missed you two Ma." She pulled away from our hug. "I love you so much Jane."
"I love you two Maura."
