.02% of humans are born with a "virus" that makes them a more advanced human, giving them the knowledge that the average human cannot understand or comprehend. People who aren't born with this sickness envy these diseased people. Some to the point they study on them to maybe obtain this disease. Even though most people wish to be of the diseased, people not born with it died if they altered their body to obtain in. These diseased individuals in society are called Echos, they get this name from the disease which is often times called the Echo disease. Not even the Echos know fully what "gifts" they have from being sick, there has been rumors about not just our brains are more advanced but most of our bodies are, but because of how many people hunt Echos they don't try to find out fearing to be found and being experimented on or, being slaves to rich people so they can gain money.
Their is no cure and Echos believe this "gift" is a curse and wish it would go away.
