Rose woke up the next morning. She was still disappointed from last night, because the Smoothie bar had closed early. She quickly bursted out of bed and threw a random set of outfit on and then ran to the Smoothie bar, hoping it would be open, it was open. She smiled with glee. She ran through the door and looked for nate. She ran over to him as soon as she saw him. He was daydreaming, he spotted Rose in the corner of his eye. He immediately snapped out of it. He looked at Rose. Rose dreamily looked at Nate.

"What do you want?"Nate asked, his tone was rushed and forced. Rose shyly nodded, he was talking to her. She ordered her usual, and this time she didn't get a markup on price. She smiled at him as she drank the smoothie. He sighed, desperate to see the clock turn to 11, lunch break time. He couldn't handle Rose, he resented her. He took a nice, deep breath and started to talk with her, it was basic things, but he eventually started chatting with her about deeper things; things that were important to Akami and Thana's cause. He sighed in relief when he saw Rose leave the Smoothie Bar. He slumped down on the bar, relieved. He took out the hologram that the two girls gave him, both cerious and ready to report his newly found intake. He turned the hologram on, and was greeted by a blue, transparent screen emanating from the top of the hologram. It was showing on the top right, a symbol representing Nate and the middle, all his contacts. He selected Send a message. It was in the bottom right corner. He was met with a bunch of options, Profile, Full body or surroundings; he selected Full body. The screen turned blue and then said recording at the top. He stuttered a bit at the start, but eventually started the intale. He then sent the recording to Akami and Thana.

He was in disbelief. Such technology was unheard of in this world. He couldn't wrap his head around it. It was too amazing for him. He poked around on the hologram and powered it off and headed home.

His father, Nathanial immediately noticed the new device in his hand. He analyzed it as best as he could, trying his best to figure out what it was and how he got it. From what he new, Nate only knew Rose and a few teachers from the local school. The device had a futuristic feel, the power on button to the whole glass that encased it. The man decided to approach the boy. Nate stopped and turned around.

"Yes?"he asked, with a cerious tone.

"What's... that in your hand?"his father asked.

Nate looked at it. He forgot to slip it in his pocket. He wasn't exactly sure how to explain it. He just new it recorded messages and sent them. He shrugged, unsure. Nathanial sighed. Nathanial tried to grab it from him, He quickly shifted his body away from his father. He wasn't sure if it was okay to show anyone else the device, so he stayed on the safe side and didn't show it to him. He quickly hurried to his room, and hoped for a response to his message.

Thana and Akami received the message. They didn't respond immediately, they listened to it. The message didn't really surprise either of the girls, they responded back thanking the boy for his efforts for the day. Thana looked at Akami.

"Is it really worth keeping that child with us?"She insisted.

Akami nodded. She knew that Thana wasn't a fan of humans, especially the ones who were attracted to her. Nate had a obvious crush on her, and she naturally despised him for that matter. In her eyes, she was too cold and cruel to have a girlfriend, or boyfriend. She was ready to get rid of the boy, make him return to life. She didn't care if he was from a kingdom or not, she just wanted him gone. Akami wasn't exactly sure how to explain the situation at hand to the girl.

"Yes. Rose is infatuated with him. He makes life easier for us."Akami started."We can expose of him when we're done with him"

Thana agreed. She liked the last part. The kid seemed dedicated to them, but not for their motives. She disliked working with someone who wanted something astray from the group's goals. The time ticked on as they discussed the new addition to their team.

"I'm off to get a drink."Akami said, and left the cave.

Rose dreamily walked to her bed, he seemed to take a slightly less hatred to her. She had some hope, that he'd return her feelings. She would call this day a success. Her hope was high and she felt that nothing could go wrong. She was eager to wake up the next day and see him. Her night gone by slowly, she tossed and turned all night. She sighed, and got up. It was 3:00. She looked over at her desk. It was filled with Nate pictures and unsent letters. She grinned at them and sighed. The pictures were haunting yet comforting. She hoped that everything that happened was just a dream. Her mother had shielded her from the evil her whole life, she appreciated it but a small part of her wanted to let life choose, instead of her mother.

It felt like minutes later when she glanced at the clock, it was 3:40. She quickly hurried to bed and got to sleep.

Rose woke up at 12:00, she looked around noticing how light it was outside and some noises from the living room. She wandered over, trying not to be seen. She noticed her Mother and a brown haired individual with pale skin. The voices spitted out vulgar words at each other with rising tensions every half second. The air was thick, tense as the two adults shouted. Rose blurred out what they said, scared. Her heart pounded and her eyes watered. She took a deep breath and then listened.

They were arguing about Rose's situation, along with Nate's behaviour. Rose was confused about the conversation. They talked about Nate's frequent disappearances along with his change in attitude. Rose hadn't heard about any of that, she didn't remember it either nor did she want to.

Thana teleported into Monica's house, across from Rose. She listened to the conversation and smiled. She knew exactly what was going on. The girl motioned Rose to join in, the girl refused. Thana sighed, and just continued to listen. The man was Nathanial, Prince Nathanial. He was known as Nathan back in the two kingdoms. Nobody except for royalty would be caught dead calling the prince Nathanial. Rose's body shivered as she stepped into the living room. Thana watched as the two adult's heads turned towards her.

"He has been acting aloof. I assumed it was mind control"Rose spoke.

"What do you know?"Nathanial demanded.

"He wasn't a fan of me... then he was infatuated with me... then... then.."Rose started. She bursted into tears, she couldn't go on. The situation was too hard for her mind to handle. The hardest thing she had to deal with as a child was losing a pencil. She looked down, unable to give them the information they wanted. She continued to let her tears drip down her face. Monica approached her, out of sympathy. Rose looked at her, with sad, almost depressed eyes.

The room went silent for a few minutes. "Then what?!"The prince scolded. Rose's eyes widened, surprised. "He hated me.."She tried to say, her words came out like a jumbled mess. The man sighed, annoyed. He didn't like it when Nate hid things from him.

Clinks of boots soon entered the room. Rose looked up. She stepped back, out of fear. Nobody else wore boots, that she was aware of. Thana; she looked at the whole group. She laughed, as if she was giving a big middle finger to all of the people gathered in the group."What do we have here?"She asked, " A discarded prince, a disappointing princess... and the human." Nothing was more insulting than that sentence to the three Glaens. They didn't show that they didn't like the insult, but they definitely knew the situation, or thought they did.

"Nate's chosen what he wants to do. Glaens are suppose to be the triumphant kingdom, and yet... i haven't seen any.... Heros, success.."Thana spoke, her tone was like she was looking down at the three Glaens.

"What do you mean?!"Nathanial yelled.

"Rose'll find out."Thana immediately responded.

Rose's eyes widened. She backed away, and ran off. She pushed the door open and ran to the Smoothie Bar. It was open, she sighed with relief and ran to the bar. Nate was cleaning the area. Rose smiled at him. He just glanced at her, trying to resist the temptations of giving her a dirty look and a middle finger.

"What's going on?"Rose asked, her voice trembled and it was obvious she had cried recently.

"Nothing."He lied.

"Tell me... please"Rose cried.

"I....it's secret"he revealed, then quickly backed it up with a lie. "My life's on the line."

Rose nodded, pretending to understand the situation. She looked down. Why her? Her mind couldn't comprehend why Thana had decided to do what she was doing. This is worse than death.

She got up and walked to Nate. She bursted into tears. "Don't leave me."She cried and hung on.
