M A R K
I just want Hazel to be safe. I just want her to be happy. I know she is right now. Because she drinks her coffee fast when she's happy.

Last night was amazing. We just slept. I haven't seen her in weeks, my fault, but I still missed her touch. Dark slept on the couch and he wasn't happy about it.

"God my back is killing me," Dark sighs as he walks to the kitchen.

Hazel giggles and I smirk.

"Maybe you should go back to where you came from. You wouldn't be on the couch then," I suggest.

His eyes go dark.

"It's not my fault I haven't seen you in so long. You never invited me," referencing the 'I haven't seen him in 15 years' act Hazel thinks.

I really haven't seen him in 15 years but I wish it would've been longer.

I just shake my head and take a rather large sip of my coffee. Hazel excuses herself to the bedroom and just to make sure she want mad, I followed her.

Before I knock on the door, it was open just a crack. I looked through, and she was changing. I couldn't peel my eyes off of her smooth skin. She was changing into the clothes she wore last night, which wasn't too fancy nor casual.

"Whatcha doing there, Mark?" I hear Dark right behind me, making me jump.

"Jesus, nothing, just checking on Hazel."

"You were watching her change, I saw what she was doing," he starts to whisper, "remember, my vision is really good because I'm not actually human."

My blood starts to boil and I grab Dark by the throat.

"You were watching her?!"

He chokes a little, "You were too!"

"She is my girlfriend! It's not like I haven't already seen everything!"

Hazel swings the door open, "What the hell?"

I had lifted Dark into the air, though he may not be fully human, he can still feel pain and emotions. He just has better hearing and sight than us.

I drop Dark down and rush to the bathroom.

I slam the door and stare at myself in the mirror. I splash some water into my face to calm down. I can hear Dark and Hazel talking but I'm not sure what about.

I wait another minute before I walk out of the room.

"Mark, seriously, you got mad about that?" Hazel glares at me.

"About what?" Dark must have twisted the story somehow and made me the bad person.

"Danny said that you were choking him because he came to apologize for the arguing," she turns towards me.

"I didn't-"

"Oh save it, I'm going out. Talk it out with eachother. I'll be back in an hour."

She opens and slams the front door.

I walk up to Dark slowly to make sure he doesn't see my punch coming.

He holds his face in the spot I hit him and he loses balance and falls.

"What the fuck!" I yell.

He can't answer from the sudden pain. I just look at him.

"You made me the bad guy? You were watching her change!"

"She doesn't need to know that," he mumbles.

I walk into a small coffee shop, not ordering anything. I just sit on my phone the whole time.

My phone suddenly rings. It's an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answer.

The only thing that comes through is static. And breathing.

"Hello," I say again. A voice finally comes through.

"I'm almost there."
