*Claire's POV*
My life as I had known it had changed and to describe the changes would've been nearly impossible. I had gone from being terrified in my own home to loving how I lived and the people that I was with.
Dave had saved me from something far worse than an eternity alone, he saved me from a life of being treated like garbage. He made me feel as I should've felt the entire time. Alex was a toxic stain on my life and I was glad that I had gotten rid of him. The one and only regret I had was that I didn't tell Dave how he made me feel all those years ago before I had met Alex maybe if I had, I wouldn't have come through what I did.
However I was finally happy, I had him and I had my band. I had the very things in life that I had always wanted. It had taken me far to many years to get and I would go to hell before I gave it up. When he saved it me it was simple I didn't know I needed a hero until he became my hero.
Since then I've completely repaired all the damage done to me by Alex and now with Dave's help I continue to grow stronger and be less afraid of my past. Amazing what can happen when your hero happens to be the one that knew you the best, and you didn't know that you needed a hero... I had everything I wanted...
