Karlie's POV

"Are you feeling any better?" I kneel down in front of Taylor as she sits on the edge of our bed. "I think I'm going to throw up." She breathes out a long breath and holds her head in her hands as she looks at me. "I spoke to Dr Montgomery and she said it's normal to feel like this near the end of pregnancy and it's elevated because you're carrying twins, but if it gets any worse then you might need to go in for a checkup." I sigh as I run my hand slowly up and down her back.

"I think it's better if you stay home today, just in case you're about to go into labour or something." My eyebrows are furrowed and I try to give her my best serious face but she just shakes her head. "I have to go, Kar. I have to, I'm testifying today." I sigh as she stares into my eyes. "Come downstairs and I'll make you breakfast but if you're not feeling better by the time Abigail gets here then I'm not letting you leave this house." She nods and I help her up from the bed.

She's sitting in her pyjamas as I leave her at the kitchen table to go and get Maisie from her crib. "There's my sleepy bug." I smile as I open the door and walk into her room to find her standing up in her crib. "You're getting far too good at that, you're going to be giving your mommy and I the run around soon." I laugh as I pick her up. "Mama." She coos and I grin, "mommy's downstairs, baby. Why don't we go and find her." I walk out of Maisie's room, banging on Kimby's door at the same time, telling her to get her lazy ass out of bed before she makes herself late for class.

I sit Maisie in her highchair beside Taylor as I enter the kitchen. "Hi baby." She smiles at her as Maisie hits the tray with the stuffy in her hand. I glance back at Taylor as I start making her breakfast, she really doesn't look good but I know she's not going to back down easily.

"Hey, come in." I smile as I open the door to Abigail. She's watching Maisie for us whilst we're at court since Kimby has a lecture in half an hour. "Maisie's in the playroom, Taylor's getting dressed and I need to make sure my little sister isn't late for her class." I sigh as I check my watch. Abigail goes to find the baby and I quickly make my way upstairs.

"Kimby, are you even awake?" I knock and walk into her room to find her still curled up in bed. "Hey!" She cries as I pull the covers off of her. "I'm not your mom, Kimberly. I have enough to deal with right now. Get your butt out of bed right now or you're going to be late." I turn on my heels to check on Taylor and behind me I hear groaning but she's moving out of the bed which was my main goal.

"Taylor?" I call out to her as I walk into our room and she comes out of the bathroom with a small smile on her face. "How are you feeling?" I ask and she nods, "I'm fine, I promise." I sigh as I watch her put in her earrings. "Are you going to be comfortable in that?" She's wearing a white blouse and pencil skirt that comes to her knees and much to my dismay she puts on a pair of heels -with my help since she can't even reach her feet to put her shoes on. "Probably not, but its the outfit Tree gave me." She sighs as she takes my hand and we go downstairs together, finding Abigail in the playroom with Maisie.

I pick the baby up off of the floor and hold her on my hip as I press kisses to one side of her face as Taylor kisses the other. "Be a good girl for Auntie abi." She smiles as she strokes the baby's cheek with her finger and Maisie babbles away to herself happily as I hand her over to Abigail. "Good luck." Abi sighs as she wraps her free arm around us each individually. "If you feel even the slightest twinge of pain or nausea in there, don't try and stick it out, don't risk your health for him. He's not worth it." She holds Taylor's face in her hands and the woman nods as she lets go. "I promise, I'm fine."
