I'm changing my way of portraying my calling thingy, so.

~~~
KIM OTTER's POV
"Are you working properly, newbie?" My manager questioned, leaning against the counter.
"Yes ma'am" I gulped, wiping my sweat with the white towel that was hanging around my neck.
You're wonder why I'm working, right?
"Boy! Come here!" Lucas called over, the second I opened the door.
"What'd you want?" I asked, covering my shaking hands with an unafraid image. "I have homework to do"
"It's time to pay for my end of the deal" Lucas said, and turned off the television.
My eyebrows furrowed, "What deal?"
"You're going out with your little boyfriend, aren't you?" He asked, raising his busy eyebrow. "Look, let's make a deal. You'll go out now and do whatever you want BUT you have to do me a favor afterwards, deal?"
"Oh" I sighed.
"I need you to get a job" He said, honestly shocking me.
"That's it?" I questioned, and ruffled my hair in relief.
"You need to save approximately $7,000 before the end of this month" Lucas said, and lazily sipped his beer, as I was slowly sorrowing to pieces.
"W-What do you mean?! Are you insane?!" I shrieked. "What do you need that much money for anyways?"
"To propose to your mother, I need to buy her a ring" He informed, and shrugged.
"Why can't you get a job?" I tiredly dropped my backpack and sat onto the sofa across from the old man while rubbing my temples, trying to get all this information pass through my head. "Oh wait, who would want to hire you?" I scoffed.
"You rude boy!" Lucas yelled, "Now, you know what I want, go and get it. If you don't get that money by the end of the month, I'm going to kick you out"
"I would like a bl—Otter?"
I hesitantly lifted my head up at the customer, that unexpectedly called my name, making me loudly gasp.
"You work?" Raymond questioned, before lacing his hand with the familiar girl beside him additionally known as Lilli Sinclair.
"Whatcha working for?" Raymond genuinely smiled, a sight I missed for the past four weeks.
'How could a person look so good just wearing a white shirt and shorts?'
I stifled a wide grin, "Excuse me sir" I grunted, clutching onto my pen. "There's customers waiting behind you" I coldly informed, showing an expressionless face as if telling him I wasn't interested in his presence.
"..." Raymond blinked in disbelief, before softly muttering to Lilli "Go order, I'll find a seat"
"Your shift is over, here's your paycheck"
"Thank you, Mrs Dre" I bowed, and accepted the money.
I snatched my backpack from the ground and rummaged through my bag. I stood outside my workplace's entrance and unlocked my phone.
Calling...
Timmy:
"Hello?"
Me:
"Hi Tim, my shifts finished, wanna hang?"
Timmy:
"Sure, I'll meet you at my house"
Me:
"Yeah, I'll see you then"
Call Ended
"How about let's play 20 questions" Tim suggested, laying his head onto my lap (it was a normal thing) while we were watching television.
"Sure" I agreed.
Tim sat up and crossed his legs, facing me, as I did the same.
"Question one...Favorite food?" I asked, simply.
Tim gave me a 'wtf' look, "I bought you were going to ask something deep but you know, you're Otter. I guess my favorite food is chicken" Tim sincerely smiled.
I secretly awed. Tim's (adorable) smile wasn't like anyone's or Raymond's at all, it was unique. Though, Tim doesn't smile very often, it was a honor to see him do so.
"My turn. Have you ever dated?" Tim awkwardly shifted in his spot.
My cheeks embarrassedly flustered, "No"
"Oh. Little Ottie hasn't dated before, so cute" The latter teased, rubbing it in my face.
Ottie...the same nickname he gave me.
"Haha, please don't call me that" I said, plucking my lips.
'I don't want to recall these memories'
"Call you what? Ottie?" Tim cocked his head, raising his eyebrow.
I nodded.
"Uh, okay then. It's your turn"
"Hmmm, have youuuu ever dated?" I threw back the questioned, slightly smirking.
"Yes, I have, multiple times"
I gave a shocked face, "Playboy type, aren't you?" I joked.
"I didn't mean it like that!" Tim assured. "I meant that, those boys wasn't my type"
"Boys?" I questioned.
The taller face-planted. "I guess I should tell you now since that slipped, I'm into boys, Otter"
'There's a lot of gay people in this world' I mentally chuckled.
"My go,
Do you perhaps like...Raymond?"
