Today is the day that we escape. There's one problem though. Princeps is here, at the prison. I don't know if we can do this today. "We can't do this today," I said. "Why?" Eric asked me. "Princeps is here. We have to this tomorrow when he isn't here. "Okay, you're right," Eric replied. One hour later, we were called to lunch and on my, to the cafeteria I made direct eye contact at Princeps. I felt uneasy, sick, and nervous. Yet I felt like I know him like he's a friend of mine or something. I don't know, it was strange. At the end of the day, Princeps left. But I still can't shake this feeling that I know him somehow.
The next day Ellie, Eric and I are getting ready for our escape. "I still don't think this is a good idea, Dominic," Ellie said. "I am unsure of this plan too. But it's the only way that we can get off of Carcerem." I explained. " I guess you're right," Ellie replied. "We will be alright. What happened to your sister won't happen to us." I said trying to get her to focus on the task at hand. Right before Eric went to say something there was an announcement. Prisoner 23561 go to the Warden's office. Why would the Warden want to see me? Soon a security guard came to escort me, it was Julie.
I asked her why would the Warden want to see me. "He has heard rumors that someone is planning an escape. I don't know who he heard it from, but it wasn't me." Replied Julie. The people on my planet can look into people's souls, I know she isn't lying. I am in the Warden's office scared, and nervous thinking that he found me out. "Do you know why you are here, son?" He asked me. "No, sir" I replied. 'You are here because I know someone is planning to escape from this prison. And I am trusting you to find him or her." The Warden said. "Why me?" I asked. "You are the only one in this prison that doesn't give me any trouble. That tells me that you give me and the guards respect. I highly value respect around here. Will you help me?" He asked me. I asked thinking and confused about this. Before I had the chance to answer he said something else. "If you do I will free you, and let you go to any planet you wish." He said. "Can I have some time to think about this, sir?" I asked. "One week. No more, no less." The Warden replied.
I explain what happened to Ellie and Eric. "What?" Ellie and Eric were shocked. "What are you going to do?" Eric asked. "I don't know, but I do know one thing. We aren't going to escape today. I don't know what I'm going to do." I replied.
What am I going to do?
