Your POV

I opened the door and raced down stairs.

'Ciel! He just!'

I calmly open the door to the kitchen to reveal Ciel eating lunch, with Sebastian preparing another one for you.

Sebastian smiles "Well hello Young mistress, I assume the lesson went well?"

"T-the lesson?" you stuttered, then you remembered, the lesson with Ciel.

"R-right, sorry, it went well" you sighed.

Sebastian narrows his eyes but nonetheless let's you sit.

It was dead silence at the table, you felt furious at the same time embarrassed.

'Ciel just drops the subject, and leaves?! Then again he stole my first kiss.'

You gripped the knife in hand 'What's on his mind!?'

You stood up, not feeling hungry anymore.

"Young Mistress?"

"I'm done!" you snapped unintentionally.

'Whoops. I didn't mean to sound that harsh. Ah like I'm supposed to care. Sebastian's a real pain anyway'

"S-sorry" you whisper as you walked out.

You walked to the library, it didn't take you long to find Romeo and Juliet.

'I'm so confused...Ciel?'

Ciel walked into the room and closed the door.

"I-I'm sorry" he murmured.

You sighed and walked up to him...

And hugged him.

"Y-your not mad at me?" he stammered.

"Of course not" you smile.

You put your hands on his shoulders "But, I can't handle a relationship like that right now, alright?"

Ciel nods "I understand"

"For now, let's be friends...Best friends" you say.

Ciel nods "Alright"

You smile, and hug him tight 'A friend I can depend on'

Ciel's POV

She hugged me tight 'A friend eh? Well I'll always love you, no matter what'

We pulled apart and she still had that beautiful bright smile...one that I had abandoned so long ago.

'Maybe you're my Songbird that sings in the darkness'

Knock Knock...

"Come in" Ciel says.

Sebastian holds a letter in his hand, and it had a too familiar seal on it.

"The Queen's seal" ______ mutters.

"________, we'll discuss this in my study"I say.

She nods "Right"

At Ciel's study...

Ciel opened the letter and there _______ and I read.

"Bear baiting, and I thought it was banned. Wait...dogs!?" she says.

"When Sebastian comes, I'll explain further. We need to arrange a trip to see to the case" Ciel says.

"Alrighty" she says.

Sebastian comes in and Ciel requests for a trip.

"A trip? In this season?"

Ciel grabs his cake, while you received your's patiently.
