"Emily! Get up! We need to finish unpacking!" I heard my best friend, Ariana yell.
This was the third day we've been living together, in this quiet suburban neighborhood with little houses lined along the road that all look the same from the outside.
"And after we finish unpacking, we need to go around and meet all the neighbors!" She yelled again, this time she was standing over the couch where I was sleeping.
"Okay, okay. I'm up." I screeched, rubbing my eyes.
"Good, now hurry up and do whatever you need to do, because at 9:15 were going to start unpacking." Ariana bossed.
I quickly snatched my pink iPhone 5c off the floor and checked the time. 8:47. Okay, I quickly assessed, I have time to take just a ten minute shower, and put on a light coat of makeup.
I jumped in the shower for about, ten minutes. After, I slid into some yoga pants, some purple Vans, and a tattered Planet Fitness t-shirt. I threw my hair up into a messy bun with some light mascara and eye liner. Now, I am ready.
I skipped down the stairs to find Ari at the bottom of the stairs with a similar outfit on: a pair of yoga pants, galaxy Vans, and an Obey muscle-tee on. Her hair was in a messy, yet straight pony-tail and the same makeup as me.
First, we hauled the rest of the boxes from the garage to the entry way of the quaint house.
"Okay, I'll do all the upstairs stuff, as long you help me carry it up the stairs." I said.
"Fine..." Ari disgustedly said.
After about seven or eight boxes we hauled up some stairs, and some two hours later. I was done with the upstairs, for the exception of Ariana's stuff. And to my surprise, Ari was done with the downstairs AND even made some cookies for the other neighbors for when we go introduce ourselves.
"Ready?" Ari asked me, to see how confident I was, "just throw on your best smile and seem love able." She teased to me.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." I confidently stated.
The first house we hit up was a kind, and adorable elderly couple on the left side of our house. They introduced themselves and welcomed us to the neighborhood. We thanked them, and then left.
The house in the right, was a completely different story. There were two young guys, may I add, shirtless, washing a car.
Ari and I looked at each other, then smirked, as we walked over to the boys.
"Hi!" We said, somewhat startling them, "sorry to bother you, but were new to the neighborhood, and just wanted to introduce ourselves. This is Ariana, or Ari, and I'm Emily. We live right next door, to the left.
"Well, its nice to meet you, Ari and Emily. I'm Nash, and that's Cameron."
