Finally. After six years, on this day, March 13, 2091, we're here. Using data from the Juno Spacecraft (2016), we begin our descent into the planet's atmosphere. Admiral Lowell is in a worse and worse mood everyday. Oh, he's coming. Gotta go!

Admiral Lowell confirms that our descent will be slow; we don't want to risk burning the craft in this environment. Captain Foster is excited as we get closer. She's talking my ear off, but it's okay because I like hearing her theories. She has so many ideas about what we'll find, but her inner biologist nerd is spouting too many big words for me. I'm just a technician.

It's so creepy down here as we get closer to the surface. Looking outside my window is like looking into a colorful fog. I can't see a thing, and it's eerie. I wonder if anything is alive here? Is there even a surface? We're about to make ground-breaking history. I'm making a call to the control center to tell them of our descent. We're getting closer.

We successfully reached the surface. At Admiral Lowell's command, I am staying on the ship with Evans, Chesterfield, and Rivet while the others investigate. They're telling us over the comms that the ground is like nothing we would've thought. Ice-ish? But with more traction? And the air is surprisingly light, even with this much dense gas. I hope the admiral lets me off soon so I can check the ship. If she's not looked at under these conditions we could be stranded.

We've been here an entire day, and still I haven't gotten the chance to see the outside. C'mon, Admiral! Really?! We're on a whole 'nother damn planet!

13:27 | 031591 | Log 2206

It was...breathtaking. The sky is constantly moving and changing colors just like the outside surface. It's windy - like really windy, and the ground is super weird. I feel like we're in another dimension. Captain Foster took Evans and Rivet with her to go exploring in the hopes that she'll find lifeforms, but I've got important things to do like make sure our ship doesn't get blown away like a house of cards.

Something's...wrong. I don't know what's going on. The ship is all out of wack, and I can't place it. Captain Foster, Evans, and Rivet still aren't back, and Admiral Lowell is acting weird.

22:33 | 031591 | Log 2208

Oh my god, oh my god! Something's out there! It's screaming, attacking the ship! Oh my god it's going to knock us over! Oh my god, oh my god! Is that Rivet?!

I'm going to die. We're going to die. It took Rivet, something took Rivet. And now... Admiral? What are you doing? STOP!
