(Shinto's POV)

Then, a masked person appears in front of Icarus.

"It's your fault you were weak. You will always be weak. You could even save one other person." the masked person says.

"Shut up." He says

"You know it. You know that somewhere it's true. You always be the cause of all their deaths! You're pathetic!" The masked person says.

Then, Icarus was covered in a coat of thick, red aura. He almost looked like a nine tailed fox.

Icarus roared so loud, we had to cover our ears with our hands!

He charged at the masked person, and even when the masked man was able to dodge, he was caught in the 9 tails and was smashed against all the walls.

The masked person was ripped to shreds. At that moment, the masked man was a familiar.

"I need to help Icarus!" Aphrodite says.

"Don't!" Imani says.

"Why not?!?" Aphrodite yells.

"Icarus... has lost all thinking and now is just a creature of pure chaos. He is gone." She says.

"I'll still try" Aphrodite replies.

"Hey! Do what Imani tells you to do! You'll only die!" I yell.

"No can do." Aphrodite says.

(Aphrodite's POV)

I ran towards Icarus as fast as I can.

Icarus is still Icarus. He's still there, and I'll bring him to his senses.

I then hugged him.

"It's okay, Icarus. I'll always be there for you. We promised, didn't we? If you need help, I'll be there for you. If I need help, you're always there to help me. Don't you trust me? You can rely on me." I said to him.

He tried to get me off of him many different ways, but I won't let go.

I remembered all those times I spent with Icarus when we were young. He was always so happy, so kind, and so caring. He always helped me whenever I was sad, It's my turn to help him out.

"I can't imagine what I would do without you. Please, come back to me, Icarus." I say, my eyes shut while crying.

I felt something within Icarus. He didn't have fur on him.

When I opened my eyes, I was hugging the real Icarus. The same Icarus he always was.

"Idiot... you could've gotten hurt." He says, hugging me a bit tight.

"I don't care... I thought I was going to lose you... Don't you dare try doing that again. Promise me." I say.

"I promise." He replies.

"You can cry for as long as you want. I don't want you to feel sad anymore. You should trust me more... Idiot." I say.

"Aphrodite..." Icarus says.

He looks like he's going to break down.

"You can trust me." I say.

Then, he started crying.

Idiot... don't keep it bottled up. I'll be there for you... no matter what.
