Chapter 17

I spent the rest of the morning in the bedroom...I didn't come out until 1 in the afternoon...Talk about a new world record!

As I was about to walk down the stairs, I could hear crying coming from the left side...I walked up to the door, the crying becoming more and more louder...It was Emerald's voice that was crying so I thought she might need some cheering up...

I knocked on the door but she didn't say anything, so I knocked again but she still didn't say anything so I had no choice but to open the door. I opened it very slowly and I saw Emerald lying down on the bed with her head in the pillow, I could hear her still crying...

"Emerald are you okay?" I asked, she raised her head and turned to see me I could see the tears coming out of her eyes

"NO!" She replied and then turned her head away, I tried to touch her shoulder but she pushed my hand away

"Do you want me to leave?" I asked her, there was a minute of silence until she said "Yes" and I suddenly left the room

My mind was wondering what the hell happened? But before I can go deeper into my thoughts, I felt a hand touch my shoulder which caused me to scream. I turned around to see Corey with a grumpy look to his face

"This is why I wanted you to stay away from him" he said coldly, I turned around to face him "Has he hurt Emerald a lot of times?" I asked him. He looked away from me, tears coming down through his cheeks, I went to touch his face wiping the tears off his face

"Jacob is a player. He has hurt a lot of girls before Emerald, I wanted you to stay away from him because I didn't want you to face the same heartbreak as all those other girls did"

"That doesn't excuse you putting pressure on my arm!" I said in a snarly tone, his face went to horror as soon as I snapped

"Willow, I'm sorry!" he tearfully called out but I just turned my head away from him and took a deep breath thrice "I'm going for a walk" I said to him as I walked down the stairs, put on my slip-ons, opened the door, walked outside and closed the door

Marmande was a very quiet town but there were a lot of stalls open, thousands of people were waiting in line to buy something, tourists taking photos over important landmarks as well as enjoying the local foods in local restaurants

My eye paid attention over a girl with long hair, pink lips and a tattoo with the words "Phoenix Bitch" placed inside a heart...I knew who the girl was but before I could turn the other way, she came up to me

"Well well well, look who it is"

I should mention that Alexia was a very popular student at school, but some of us can't stand her (me and Corey included). I wondered if her parents knew about her bitchy attitude...I even wondered if she was dropped on her head as a baby, but that wasn't the problem. What was the problem is that Alexia was standing right in front of me most likely going to rip my eyeballs off my face...

I should mention that she wasn't alone...She had her big brother Ripper with her, he was a big person with muscular arms and legs (basically arms and legs with steel that can break a person's bone within seconds), his hair was flaming red and spikey, his eyes a cold colour of red like he was pure evil (But I'm not really sure if he is evil like his bitchy sister!)

"Nice to see you too Alexia" I said sarcastically

"That better be sarcasm you little brat" she said evilly but I just rolled my eyes at her response

"No I'm just "really" happy to see you!" I wasn't going to let that popular bitch get the best of me so I decided to be sarcastic until she loses it!

"YOU LITTLE BRAT!!! I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE UP TO!" She started to raise her voice at me but I was started to get bored with her attitude. I was thinking of getting away from her but she had her brother there with her so I didn't risk it

"Is she giving you a hard time sis?" asked Ripper

"No she's not! Come on, let's get out of here! Mum will be pissed at us for coming home later!" she then turned around to face me and said "You won't get away next time Pillow! You stole Corey from me and that's your first mistake!" she and Ripper walked away from me as I gave a repulsed look at the both

Alexia was really stupid and obsessive! Corey didn't want to be with her and he never will be but of course she have to have everything! Her parents must be spoiling her and her brother too...

But I decided not to go too deep into my thoughts because the sun was starting to set so I decided to go back to Giselle's house...
