Waking up to the smell of bacon is the best feeling a girl could ever feel. Well that I know of anyway..

"BACON!!!" I could already hear my mums laughter from my room. I quickly jumped out of bed loving he fact that I didn't need to worry about warm slippers or jumpers because it wasn't winter here. I ran downstairs as fast as I could nearly tripping on my own feet. On the rare occasion that I eat red meat, it would be for bacon.

"Good morning, did you have a good sleep?" My mum said, she seemed happier today, maybe it was because she didn't have to hide her and my dad's sadness?

"It was AMAZING! Thanks for getting me a king bed," I exclaim whilst giving her a hug and kiss on the cheek. I sometimes love the fact that I am taller than her. I'm 164 cm or in American terms 5'4 whilst she is only 158 cm or 5'2.

"It's fine sweetie, here you go bacon and eggs. I have to head to work now so please tidy up the kitchen when your finished." She has work already? That sucks. I wanted to go to the beach with her.

"Work already? Okay, I think I'm gonna go to the beach, I looked it up on google maps, and I will!" By the time she had left I already finished my breakfast. After quickly tidying the kitchen I ran upstairs.

"Bikini or no? Screw it, I don't care what people think of me."

I got dressed into a cute blue and white polka dot bikini, I put on a 5SOS crop top and some denim, washed out blue high waisted shorts with a couple rips in them. I ran downstairs and put on my billabong blue thongs, although now that I live in America I should probably call them 'flip flops' it sounds so weird.. All of a sudden my phone started blaring out 'She Looks So Perfect' signaling I have a message.

'Hey it's Kian, the boys and I were wondering what you were doing today?' Ugh, I didn't want to hang out with anyone today I need to work on my tan.

'Hey, I was actually about to head to the beach for a tan, what about you?' I quickly grabbed my beach bag which I chucked in sunscreen, sunglasses, a large beach towel and some spare underwear.

'Oh cool, mind if we join you? A girl as beautiful as you shouldn't be left on the beach alone ;)' wait, was he be flirting? I honestly can't tell..

'Uh... If you want to, I was just going to relax and listen to music is that okay with you?' this just got awkward fast.

'Sure did you want to come in my car? And if it's alright with you my other roommates are going to tag along.' OMG, does that mean the other O2L gang? Great I'm gonna be a nervous wreck.

'Okay I'll be over in a minute, thanks.'

Quickly grabbing my earphones and keys I ran out the door, I won't need my board.

I went in the car with Connor, Jc and Kian, I was told the other boys were meeting us there. "Do you have any songs on your stereo?" I noticed that he had an AUX cord that attaches to phones.

"You can put your phone on if you want." I wonder of they will like my kind of music? I clicked on 'Amnesia' bye 5SOS of course.

"You are literally my fave person right now Kasey. We all like 5SOS!" Wow that surprised me for Jc to say that.

"Cool!" This may be a fun day after all.

While I was tanning the boys decided to play volleyball. After meeting Ricky, Sam of course, Trevor didn't feel like coming though. I sat up and caught Kian looking at me, was he checking me out? What was there to check out anyway? As soon as he saw me noticing he turned away and the ball got him straight into the face. I will admit that was quite funny, he shouldn't have been checking me out in the first place. "Stop staring you perv," I heard who I think was Connor shouting at him. I went back to listening to music whilst they were being boys. I will admit I liked looking at them though, shirtless and sweaty.

I quickly got onto Twitter and wrote a post. I didn't have that many follower though, only around 500, still a lot I suppose.

'@Kaseyc01 - hanging at the beach with the @Our2ndLife boys. I'm soaking in the sun whilst they play volleyball. As boys do... #Our2ndLife #NewFriends' I decided to take a photo of them playing. Around 10 minutes after I posted it I had already gained around 5k followers. Wow, who knew that would happen?

In bed that night I realized that maybe this could be the start of a new life? After texting Jess about the boys and the beach I felt myself dozing off into a deep slumber.
