*beeeeepppppp*

The bell rung signaling us to go to our next class.

"Hey" some girl said while gathering up her things. She had on white skinny jeans and a black Aeropostale shirt.

"Are you talking to me" I said while pointing my finger at myself.

"Yea" she said while picking up her book bag.

"Okay........hi."

"Sorry my name is Carmen" she said sticking her hand out to me.

"Hey I said grabbing her hand and shaking it, my name is Loyalty but everyone calls me Loyal."

"Well Loyal what class do you have next"

"Ummm Mrs. Carey"

"REALLY!! ME TOO" she said excitedly

"Cool" I said back

"Yea well we should get going we don't want to be late, by the way your really from Texas aren't you!?" She said while we exited our homeroom.

"YES" I said, your the second person who asked me! Didn't I say that not to long ago?"

"Yea you did but I was just making sure but anyway I could tell already." She said

"How?"

"That's a story for another day let's just get to class."

We walked down the hall very quickly so we wouldn't be late. We finally made it to Mrs. Carey's class and I sat down across from Carmen.

"Umm excuse me but what do you think you are doing?"

I heard a voice say beside me. I was talking to Carmen and I turned around and saw a girl about my height standing there in a lime green shirt with black leggings.

"Sitting" I said slowly to her while crossing my legs.

"Really I didn't know that captain obvious."

"Well now you do" I said back to her

"Listen here I don't know who you are but you got five seconds to get out my seat or I will shove my foot so far up your a-"

"Ashton will you please sit down so I can start class" Mrs. Carey said while pointing to a seat.

"Sure Mrs. Carey" Ashton said, rolling her eyes.

While walking by me she bumped my shoulder making me almost fall out the desk.

"Oops sorry Ashton said while giggling, and welcome to Liberty High."

*Lunch*

Me and Carmen walked in the lunchroom together and she dragged me to a table with two people sitting down.

"Hey guys" she said while sitting down"

"Hey Car" a light brown and a dark head girl said at the same time.

"Who's this" the dark head said

"Oh yea you guys this is my new friend Loyal"

"Hi Loyal, it's nice to meet you my name is Maia." the dark head said

"And I'm Payton" the brown head said.

"Nice to meet yall and my name isn't actually Loyal it's..........

"Loyalty!" Carmen said cutting me off.

"Smith" I said while giggling.

Carmen started to giggle to but then her stomach started to rumble. She looked around at us and then started laughing.

"C-c-ar.........you better go get something to eat, we're having good food today....." Maia said while laughing.

"Yea I think I will she said, where's Alaina and Alanna"

"They're in Florida but they will be back on Friday" Payton said

"Ok, Hey Loyal you wanna come with me to get some food"

"Of course".................

Hope POV

It was finally lunchtime and I saw my sister sitting down at a table with three girls. I walked over to her and sat in front of her.

"So how was your day so far" I asked while stealing a couple of her French fries.

She glared at me for a while but she finally spoke.

"It's been great. First period was awkward but then I met this chic Carmen and her friends. she said while pointing to the girls beside her.

"Hi I'm Payton and this is Maia".

"Hey" I said

"Then in second period, Loyal begin, I "sat in the wrong seat." she said doing quotation marks with her fingers.

"What do you mean"

"We'll it turns out I was sitting in a mrs goody-two shoes seat and she got mad and she ended up siting somewhere else but third and fourth period was alright."

"Oh well I know what you mean, someone called me a hoe."

Loyal then stared at me like she had seen a ghost.

"Please tell me you didn't kill her" she said

"I didn't kill her, I said, she just got lucky........Anyway I'm going to get me something to eat and mingle..........See ya!"

Loyal POV

"Hey Loyal, why was first period so awkward for you" Payton said

"Well...........

"Hey Texas" someone whispered in my ear. While rubbing my back. There voice sent shivers down my spine. That voice was so familiar.

"I hope your having a good day so far......well I have to go see you later" the voice spoke again.

Maia and Payton just stared at me in shock.

"Wh-ho was that" I stuttered

"YOU KNOW NICK.......THE NICK HALL!" Payton and Maia screamed.

"That'ssssss who that was" I said confident while thinking back to homeroom.

"Yea she knows him" Carmen started."that's why homeroom was awkward for her................what did he do?" She finished.

"Nothing really, he just kept staring at me and he ask me was I from Texas and I specifically said not to long ago that I was from Texas."

"So you yelled at him?" Maia said

"Nooooo I just got mad and rolled my eyes and he said "That explains a lot"

"Oh ok but if I were you I wouldn't get on his bad side or talk to him that's the "queens" man aka Ashton and he's a player and he's also right that does explain a lot." Payton said.

"Listen....thank you guys for telling me this but, I'm not afraid of him or that thing(Ashton) sooooooo yea BUT HOW CAN YOU GUYS TELL THAT IM FROM TEXAS!" I screamed getting aggravated.

"Well first...............*beeeeepppppp* Maia started but the bell cut her off.

"We'll tell you later." They said while getting up from the table.

"Oh just forget it............"
