Chapter 25

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

I like these new people. Robin had this nice idea to create something called 'Titans North'. I'm guessing it's like Titans East, just a different location and name.

So we got two new people to join Kiddo, Jinx, and I at a fancy new head quarters. One is just an inch taller than me, but she's pretty nice. From New Zealand, Argent is some cool goth girl with red telekinesis powers. She's kind of like me, always super distrusting. 

The other one is a lot like Raven. Just male with a blue cloak that's shorter. His name is Herald. 

I don't think they mind that I stalk them to find out more about them. Either they don't mind or just don't know. I'm good with either.

Herald and I sometimes play chess. Argent is super good at drawing. I like that about them.

Today I was hanging upside down from one of the vents, just contemplating things. It was raining outside, a sure sign that I was happy.

Listening to the rain pound on the windows, I didn't notice Argent enter the living room.

"Stormy?" 

"Huh? Who's there?!" I twisted around, only to fall onto the floor. This time I didn't fall on my face, but on my feet.

"What were you doing up there?" She asked in her New Zealand accent.

"Oh, just a hobby. I travel via vent." He eyes widened just slightly, giving me a 'okay-just-stay-far-away-from-me' look.

Argent's nice, when you earn her trust and get to know her. What I love about rainy days is that there's barely any crime. It's one thing I like about my little weather talent.

"So how're you liking it here?" I asked politely.

"It's different."

"Is different good?"

"It can be."

"So you like it here?"

"I do."

"That's good." I said, swinging back up into the vent.

"So. You really travel by vent?"

"Ya-huh." I replied, "It's the best way to travel. Already have this whole place mapped out."

She nodded in a way that just said 'you're-crazy-but-alright'.

"Oh, hi, Stormy." Kiddo said, entering the room.

"What's up?"

"So, you know how you said that one time that you and Strawberry had 'friends'?"

"Ya-huh." I said, nodding.

(Oh boy here comes crazy)

"I think one of them might be here." He said slowly, as if he wasn't too sure about it.

"Really? Where?!" I said, thumping down to the floor from the vent again.

"The entrance hall. But she-" I didn't let him finish. I was already running down flights of stairs on all fours to get the the first floor entry hall.

...

"Who's Strawberry?" Argent asked.

...

Kiddo and Argent came in after me, and Herald and Jinx were already there. A girl just taller than me stood in the middle of the room, looking terrified.
