My life was now complete Aston and I were best friends again. I always loved him more than that but didn't want to ruin our friendship. And now I didn't have time for relationships it was all about the work. It had been weeks since we reunited. Now it was the night of the final, JLS, Sugar And Spice (Us) And Alexander Burke,Eoghan. Honestly, I really wanted us to win but if we didn't I wouldn't of them to win we were extremely close with both acts. We were the last act to go on. Now we had 10 minutes to find out the results. The girls and I had 10minutes to promote us we HAD to win this. (In this the mentors are= Cheryl: The Groups, Simon: The Boys Dani: The Girls, Louis: Over 25's different i know) I nervously skipped into JLS' dressing room and was erupted with Hey's. "Hey, I just came to say good luck!" "Aw, thanks babe," Marv said. I gave him a hug as well as the other boys and gave Aston a kiss on the cheek. "Oohh," all the boys said. "Hey, that's just our relationship!" i laughed. I knew Aston was feeling extremely nervous I could tell. "Hey its gonna be alright," I whispered squeezing his hand. I turned to the guys. "If anyone deserves this, its you guys Reesh I was thinking after the show I'd like to run a marathon for MS," i said. "Really?" he asked. "Yeah, well i gotta go good luck!" i said. I quickly went back to our dressing room to get my hair and makeup done then all the acts were called to the stage. Dermot introduced all the acts again then it was time. Me and the girls held onto each other. We needed this more than anything. "In 4th Place....." Dermot began. Long pause. "Is......... Eoghan." We all crowded around Eoghan to give him a hug before he had to leave. I could hear the crowd screaming: JLS! Alexander! Sugar And Spice! "In Third Place........." Another long pause. "Is......... Sugar And Spice!" We put on smiles to hide the disappointment. I was extremely disappointed in myself. JLS and Alexander came over to hug us, I hugged Aston tight then squeezed his hand. He had to win this now. It was his dream. It was all of the boys dreams. Watching from the side of the stage, we chanted JLS JLS JLS. "The Winner of X-Factor 2008...." Extremely long pause. "is..........Alexander Burke!" All the confetti went off and everyone crowded around Alexander. I was happy for her but disappointed. She performed her song while we headed back to our dressing rooms. Silence. "There's still the X-Factor tour," Holly said. "Oh yeah about that, Polyvore Records will be there," Molly casually announced. "Really? The Saturdays are signed to them!" i said. "You know your right we should be PARTYING instead of being moody." Rebbecca said. "Those are my favourite words,"Molly said causing us to laugh. "Go check, if the boys wanna come," I said to them.
*10MINUTES later*
"They want to but Aston has gone home already," Holly said. Great he must have been really bummed. "I'll go talk to him,"i said. "Alright hurry up i wanna partttty!" Molly said. "Okay Okay we'll meet you there!" i laughed. I quickly got into my car and drove down to Aston's house. He really needed a friend right now. I had a extra key so i opened the door. I closed the door and ran upstairs. I walked across to Aston's room and peaked through the open door. Seriously? He just came second in a show, and hes already fucking some slut. The moaning could be heard a mile. She was some orange slut as always. And it fucking hurt to see it. I mean i was his best friend not his girlfriend or anything but i admit I had strong feelings for him and he made my stomach flip. And i was going to tell him i really was after he had got over the show. But now i could see all he wanted was a fuck buddy. A tear slipped down my cheek. Just as I turned around he saw me. I quickly ran down the stairs being followed by him i slammed the door shut and got in my car and drove back to mine and the girls to get ready. I was going to let my hair loose for once. I looked at my phone incoming call:Aston. I picked up. Technically he did nothing wrong we weren't together we were just friends. "Hello?" I asked. "Look I'm sorry," he started. "Why should you be sorry, its not like were together," i snapped. "I know but I need to tell yo.." he said. "Sorry Aston I have to go," I interrupted. I pulled into the driveway and let myself into the house. I ran up to my bedroom turned on the lights and emptied out my clothes onto my bed. I eventually chose this, i changed into it quickly and put on black platform heels. I took out my heart shaped body bag putting in everything i needed. I checked my makeup and was ready to go. I opened the door to see Aston standing there with a guitar. I allowed him in. "You look beautiful," he said making me blush. " I don't but thanks," i smiled looking down. He used his fingers to bring my face back up, "You are beautiful believe it," he said. I smiled. "I wrote a song for you its called Take A Chance On Me: "Your so scared to fall in love cos you end up in the dust everytime everytime.." he began. I loved it honestly. He finished smiling straight at me. "Aston its beautiful but shouldn't you write that for someone your madly in love with," i asked. He took his hands in mine and looked me deep in the eyes. I never realised how beautiful his brown eyes were. "...
Aston's POV*
I took her soft hands in mine I wanted this to last forever. How do i tell her im madly in love with her. I looked deep into her eyes, they were brown just like mine just more beautiful. "Shannen, I've always wanted to tell you this secondary school," I began. "Your the one, the one im madly in love with." I knew I had probably ruined our friendship. "Really?" she asked. I nodded. "Your the only one I want to be with, I know i might sound like a pervert who has random one night stands but its only to get over you," I said. "I'm madly in love with you too," she grinned. A massive grin appeared on my face matching her smile . I couldn't believe she of all people liked ME. Before we knew it our faces were almost touching and my lips were pressed against hers her perfect lips. It felt like fireworks going off. I never felt like this for anyone. It was becoming more passionate. She opened her mouth letting my tounge in. We pulled away out of breath. "Oh did you want to go to the club?" i asked. "Nah, I wanna stay right here with you," she said.
