Haylie Bowers was walked home by Patrick Hocksetter. She herself couldn't get over what had happened in the sewer. Cheryl almost hitting Kassie with a axe. Cheryl throwing out the rivers of blood. She couldn't stop shaking at the memory of it.
Patrick Hocksetter frowned as he kept an arm wrapped around the girl he loved. Granted he was freezing from the snow but he had given Haylie his jacket hoping to help calm her nerves. He didn't like seeing her so broken up like this but he knew whatever it was she had just witness and been through was hell. So he kept quiet as he walked her home and inside her house. All was quiet since May and the kids were asleep. Patrick lead Haylie to her room where she handed him back his jacket.
"I'm going to shower.." Haylie said quietly as she entered her bathroom.
Patrick waited until he heard the water running to toss his jacket aside and get to work. He made the bed pulling a few extra blankets he knew where stored away out of hiding. He grabbed her a sweater and some sweatpants sitting them on the bed waiting for her. Haylie looked surprised at what he had done and gave him a weak smile. He went and locked the doors to the house for once as Haylie got dressed in the comfortable clothes before slipping into bed. The full moon shone through the window of her bedroom making the room light up. Even with the lights however she didn't feel at ease. She didn't feel too safe at the moment either. It wasn't until Patrick climbed into bed next to her wrapping his arms around her waist tightly and whispering;
"I'm here for you.."
Then and only then did Haylie Bowers feel okay with going to sleep.
